The Brook Hill Lower School Cadet Singers is made up of third- through fifth-grade select students auditioned at the beginning of the year.
The Cadet Singers competed against nine other elementary and middle school choirs at the Seasons in the Park Music Festival on May 3 in Dallas. They received 3 trophies; One for receiving the highest score for their performance — All “Superiors.”
This trophy was one of only 4 given to the 13 schools present. They also received “Best in Class” trophy for the elementary division. But the surprise award was given at the end of the Awards Ceremony.
The Cadet Singers were awarded the “Grand Champion” trophy for their competition against the elementary and middle school choirs! This was one of four trophies given for all the categories.
