Whitehouse Student Publications Earn Honors
Whitehouse High School student publications and individual work received high honors at this year’s UIL Interscholastic League Press Conference at the University of Texas at Austin.
This year’s Whitehouse High School Paw Prints student newspaper and the 2006-07 Wildcat Yearbook both received the Award of Distinguished Merit, which is the highest-ranking a publication can receive. This puts the publications in the top 10 percent of all high school publications in Texas.

Members of the 2006-07 Wildcat Yearbook staff earned the Award of Distinguished Merit from the UIL Interscholastic League Press Association. Staff members are Chase Collins, Shelby Moore, Leah Pierce, Cynthia Estrada, Meredith Smith, Codi Potter, Meagan Pryor, Miranda Davis and Joe Farmer.
