May 22: A Solution?
I believe I have a solution that could possibly bring the price of diesel and gasoline down.

Why doesn't the government charge $200 a bushel for the grain these oil producing companies buy? If these countries complain about the price we can say that due to the fact farmers are growing corn for ethanol not too many are producing the grain.

But I guess the "powers that be" (politicians and big oil execs) would not go with it. What is so hard to say that due to the fact other countries want our wheat we're using the Economics 101 (law of supply and demand). We (countries that produce the grain) have what is needed and how bad does your country want it?
