Salvation Army Concert Benefits Program Projects
The concert to benefit the Salvation Army Summer Youth Program was an example of inter-agency cooperation and relationship building. Tyler Corps Commander Capt. John Falin also said he was pleased with the 150-person turnout and that he'd received numerous phone calls offering support and requests to volunteer.

The Del Alma Guitar Duo, perform classical and Flamenco pieces at the benefit.
The concert kicked off Salvation Army Week observed nationally and featured Rabbi Neal Katz of People Attempting To Help (PATH), The Del Alma Classical Guitar Duet and Bongo and the Point, performing the rock opera, "The Selfish Giant," taken from a story by Oscar Wilde. Donations are still being accepted for the Salvation Army's Summer Youth Program. To donate, call 903-592-4361 and ask for Cindy Bell.
