Weekend Will Turn Warm, Partly Cloudy
After one more pleasant day in the region on Saturday, a strong warming trend will begin Sunday, holding temperatures above normal all of next week.

The next chance for rain will come Thursday and Friday.

There was considerable high cloudiness over the area Friday morning, with clearing coming during the afternoon.

Skies should remain partly cloudy to fair through the weekend, with probably greater cloud cover on Sunday as a minor upper air disturbance crosses.

The lack of significant moisture will mean no rain.

A weak cold front will accompany this disturbance, and East Texas will see a short wind shift into the northwest Sunday night.

Otherwise, winds will be light and southwesterly Saturday and Sunday. This will be one factor in the warming of temperatures, since the air flow will be down terrain and air heats as it descends.

An upper air high will build into the region from the southwest. This will enhance the warming sending high temperatures into the 90s between Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

Friday's temperatures ran near those of Thursday, and were about 6 degrees below normal. Satur-day's temperatures should be similar, with Sunday's readings war-ming to near normal values.

Low readings Friday morning were from the middle 50s in the north to the middle 60s in the south about 5 degrees lower than those of Thursday.

Low readings Saturday morning should be in the 50s, with Sunday and Monday morning low temperatures generally in the 60s.

Saturday high temperatures should run from the high 70s.
