2-Year-Old Dies After Being Hit By Truck
LONGVIEW — Rodrick Pierce, 2, who was injured when a vehicle backed over him at his family’s residence on Walnut Street has died last night from the injuries, police said.

He died at Good Shepherd Medical Center.

Longview police say a child was taken to the hospital after his grandmother backed into him with her truck after the child ran behind the vehicle.

Police responded to the accident in about 5:30 p.m.
