Yantis Fisherman Claims FLW Tourney Title
Yantis pro Dave Parsons walked away from last weekend's FLW Stren Series tournament $25,000 richer after weighing a four-day total of 60 pounds, 10 ounces.

Parsons weighed 14-13 on the final day, winning by almost five pounds. He won using Reaction's Sweet Beaver worm on a Texas rig. While other fishermen worked boat docks and artificial reefs, Parsons used another plan.

"I knew what most of the people were going to be doing and I tried that a little bit, but then I decided to do something a little different," Parsons said. "So I went and found the dirtiest, nastiest water I could find and just flipped wood and rocks. I caught six fish this week on a crankbait and two on a spinnerbait. The rest I caught flipping."
