May 14: Just Another Cycle For Mother Earth
With all the hype about global warming, those gurus who push this agenda have been strangely silent recently.
Why? We're having the coolest spring in memory here in East Texas and I heard lately the thickness of the ice cap is larger than ever, plus all the snow and blizzards we have had the past winter, your would think "they" would stay hidden and out of sight until the first 100-degree day in August.
Personally I think if there is such a thing as global warming it is just old Mother Earth going through another one of her cycles the same as has been happening since recorded history.
Even we humans go through cycles where we might be grumpy today, loving tomorrow, hot flashes with the girls ... whatever ... it happens. Why do we let these purveyors of gloom get us all upset? It's almost as persistent as Hitler's propaganda of the 30s and 40s.
I recall back in 1945 when our armored field artillery battalion was part of the 7th Army and advancing toward Salzburg, we experienced a two-inch snowfall on May 1. We never heard of, or would have even been interested in, global warming at that point in time.
For this old Houstonian (back then) it was a most unusual occurrence to see snow at any time of the year. We didn't hear of an Ice Age approaching or any kind of "reverse" global warming ... we could have cared less. Can't you see, it's just another way for them to make money with their books and speeches?
Go back to your caves, all you Al Gore disciples.
