May 13: An Act Of Kindness
ROSES: Recently, my son, who is a Texas Highway patrolman in Texarkana, had to come to Tyler on business and called me to join him for lunch. We met and enjoyed a good lunch and great conversation.

I suppose, that in light of the recent, senseless death of a Texas Highway patrolman, I found myself very blessed to have my son sitting across the table from me and so proud to see him wearing that uniform with such dignity.

After we had finished eating, we were told that our bill had already been paid for by someone in the restaurant.

When we went to thank them, they had gone.

So, whomever did this random act of kindness, I wanted to let you know that it touched both of our hearts and we simply wanted to let you know.
