May 13: Generosity Abounds
RAVES: Send roses to the generous people around the East Texas area from the Sharon Shrine Center. A couple of weekends ago, we were at intersections and other obvious places around collecting donations for the Shiners' hospitals.
Oh, what a pain it is to pull up to an intersection and these guys running around with buckets collecting money.
But, what a wonderful difference it makes to these children at these hospitals.
These donations go to the hospitals so they can continue to provide orthopedic care and burn care to children at no charge.
Everyone was more than generous and we certainly appreciate every penny of it. It will be put to good use, we can assure that. We do what we do so kids can walk. Thanks again, East Texas.
