RAVES: Send a huge bouquet of Mother's Day roses to two employees of United Parcel Service: Teresa Chamberlain and her co-worker whose name I didn't get. My sister and I ordered an arrangement of flowers from an online florist that was to be delivered to our mother at her work address on Friday. The incorrect address was given to UPS, so the flowers were not deliverable.

I called the 1-800 number for UPS and the lady that was assisting me sent a note to the Tyler location in hopes it wouldn't be too late for them to deliver the arrangement to my mother on Friday; otherwise she would receive wilted flowers on Monday. Teresa phoned me from the Tyler office within minutes and I explained the situation.

She stated all of the drivers had left for the day, but she would be willing to deliver the flowers to my mother's home address on her way home from work (thankfully, they both work late hours!).

I was in tears when I accepted her kind offer! I called my mother to explain the situation and told her that Teresa would be delivering the flowers later that night. It wasn't 10 minutes later when my mother called to tell me that a UPS driver had just delivered her arrangement!

Teresa, your willingness to go out of your way to make sure that my mother had her flowers in time for Mother's Day will never be forgotten. What a wonderful example you are setting for your children. To the driver whose name I didn't get, thank you. Your mother would be very proud of you.
