Tyler Police Identify House Fire Victim
The victim of a house fire in Tyler last week at 1315 Marian has been identified as the home’s owner, 57-year-old James Richardson, Capt. Jeff Akin said Monday.
The cause of death is still pending autopsy results and the fire is still under investigation, he said.
The body has been sent to Southwest Forensics in Dallas for an autopsy.
On May 6, the fire at the residence broke out about 2 a.m. and caused extensive damage. Richardson is believed to have been the only person in the home.
