May 12: Musician's Hypocrisy Evident
Re: Roger Waters' Message Should Not Have Been a Surprise
Trey Block wrote of Roger Waters ..."Mr. Waters has never been shy about his anti-establishment beliefs. Distrust of authority, particularly government."
Trey Block wrote of Roger Waters ..."Mr. Waters has never been shy about his anti-establishment beliefs. Distrust of authority, particularly government."
He doesn't "trust" it, but he has no problem with his own political agenda of telling a country's citizens how to vote in a major election. He practically accuses our government of being terrorists, yet he clearly fails to recognize genuine terrorists, and he is certainly enjoying his stay in this horrible dictator-run country now, isn't he? He enjoys his capitalistic wealth within a "capitalistic" country to avoid paying taxes in his own. He sips $1,400 bottles of wine, owns lots of real estate, and rubs elbows with the elite yet criticizes those in power for not taking better care of the poor "working class" that he supposedly has been so interested in for years.
If Mr. Waters' hypocrisy slip was not hanging down around his knees and continually tripping him up, perhaps people would not notice. But they do.
