May 11: Great Service
ROSES: Send roses to the Better Business Bureau. This consumer friendly organization provides the citizens of Smith County the opportunity to shred their boxes of old tax returns, bank statements, credit card statements, etc., in a save environment via Ark-la-Tex Shredding Company.
To make this gesture more valuable, BBB staff carried the boxes, sacks, etc., from cars and trucks to the shredder.
This service was free, complete with water, soft drinks and coupons for door prizes. What a deal. Over 5,500 pounds of paper was shredded.
Let's hope the BBB offers this service on a yearly basis.
