Carrizo On Record For Multiple Camp Hill Field Wells

DEVELOPMENTAL
Anderson County

  • Carrizo Oil & Gas will drill 12 new wells in the Camp Hill Field to a depth of 600 feet. The wells are designated the Royal Well No. 101, Well No. 111, Well No. 121, Well No. 181, Well No. 191, Well No. 251, Well No. 261, Well No. 121, Well No. 122, Well No. 123, Well No. 124 and the Royal Well No. 132. These wells will be located 4.6 miles northeast of Elkhart in the Rogers, M Survey, A-883.

  • Carrizo Oil & Gas will drill six additional wells in the Camp Hill Field. The Royal Well No. 141, Well No. 133, No. 134, Well No. 135, Well No. 136 and No. 140 will be drilled 4.6 miles northeast of Elkhart in the Rogers, M Survey, A-883. Total depth will be 600 feet.

  • Cherokee County

    The McMillan Well No. 1 will be drilled 12.7 miles northeast of Rusk in a wildcat field. The well will hit 4,200 feet drilled by LTS Oil & Gas in the Parker, DC Survey, A-670.

    Freestone County

  • The Foree Well No. 1 will be drilled 11.5 miles northwest of Fairfield in a wildcat field by Apache Corp. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the Love, J Survey, A-362. This well may also be drilled in the Winlker, S (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Cheneyboro (Cotton Valley) Field, the Rischers Store (Cotton Valley Sand) Field or the Loper (Bossier) Field.

  • XTO Energy will drill the Football Field Gas Unit Well No. 3 and the Football Field Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 3 will is 0.9 miles northwest of Teague and will hit 13,300 feet. The No. 4 is 1.6 miles northwest of Teague and will hit 13,400 feet. Both wells will lie in the Brewer, G Survey, A-5.

  • In a lease .3 miles southwest of Teague, in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Teague I.S.D. Gas Unit Well No. 3H will be drilled to 15,500 feet by XTO Energy in the Brewer, G Survey A-5.

  • Harrison County

  • The Bryant Gas Unit Wells No. 6, No. 7, No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field will be drilled to 11,000 feet by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145, 2.6 miles north of Strickling Springs.

  • The Woodlawn, Southwest (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Devon Gas Unit Well No. 14 drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. This well is 6.7 miles west of Marshall in the Gillet, C Survey, A-9 and will hit 13,000 feet.

  • Forest Oil will drill the Taylor, T.J. Well No. 10 to 10,500 feet in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is 10 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Ingram, W Survey, A-355.

  • The Mattie Dixon Gas Unit Well No. 11 and Well No. 14 will be drilled by Sandridge Exploration and Production in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will hit 14,000 feet in the Real, A Survey, A-594. The No. 11 is 4.7 miles south of Hallsville and may also be drilled in a wildcat field. The No. 14 is five miles south of Hallsville.

  • The Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field will see five new wells drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. The McJimsey Gas Unit No. 1 SWD Well No. 1 is 4.1 miles southwest of Elysian Field in the Aldreta, B Survey, A-31 and will hit 13,000 feet. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 12 is 9.4 miles southeast of Marshall and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 13 and the Abney Gas Unit Well No. 14 are 9.5 miles southeast of Marshall. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 15 is 9.7 miles southeast of Marshall. These wells will lie in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145 and will hit 12,000 feet.

  • BP America Production will drill the James H. Harris Gas Unit “B” Well No. 3H in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will hit 13,000 feet in the Clifton, JM Survey, A-184. Location will be three miles north of Marshall.

  • Anadarko E&P will drill to 12,000 feet the LeTourneau Gas Unit 4 Well No. 15. Location is 17.1 miles southwest of Marshall in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field in the Toby, T Survey, A-720.

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill three new wells in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. They are designated the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 21, the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 23 and the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 24. The wells are 5.9 miles southwest of Elysian Field in the Pearce, E Survey, A-577. The wells will hit 13,000 feet.

  • Henderson County

    XTO Energy will drill eight new wells to 12,200 feet in the Tri-Cities (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will lie in the Rice, J Survey, A-653. The Rex Young Gas Unit Well No. 4 is 3.4 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 5 is 3.2 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 6 is 3.1 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 7 is 3.8 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 8 is 3.6 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 9 is 3.8 miles southeast of Malakoff; Well No. 10 is 3.3 miles southeast of Malakoff; and Well No. 11 is 3.1 miles southeast of Malakoff.

    Leon County

    Barrow-Shaver Resources will drill the Cain Well No. 1 in the Red Oak (Dexter) Field to a depth of 7,000 feet in the White, S Survey, A-949. This well is one mile southeast of Buffalo and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Limestone County

  • Stroud Petroleum will drill the Vickery Well No. 3 in a wildcat field. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4. Location is 11.5 miles southwest of Teague and the well may also be drilled in the Oletha (Travis Peak) Field, the Personville (Travis Peak) Field or the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

  • The Samford Well No. 1 is 11.3 miles northwest of Groesbeck in a wildcat field. Barrow-Shaver Resources will drill the well to 12,000 feet in the Smith, WD Survey, A-492.

  • The Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field will see the N.E. Shorter Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 drilled by XTO Energy to 14,800 feet in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26 16.2 miles west of Thornton. It may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Marion County

    The Clear Lake GU Well No. 1H is five miles north of Karnack in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. Wagner & Brown will drill the well to 13,500 feet in the Watson, JB Survey, A-419.

    Nacogdoches County

  • In a lease two miles southwest of Martinsville, in a wildcat field, the Fulton Fuller Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by Fossil Resources. This well will hit 10,600 feet in the Flores, Hrs. V. Survey, A-30. It may also be drilled in the Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Oscar Well No. 1H will be drilled to 8,500 feet in the Kendrick (James) Field by Samson Lone Star. This well is 4.9 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Arriola, MJ Survey, A-4.

  • St. Mary Land & Exploration will drill the West Esparza Well No. 1H 8.6 miles southwest of Nacogdoches in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field. The well will hit 9,500 feet in the Esparza, JM Survey, A-199.

  • In a lease 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches, in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field, the Jacob Alexander GU 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star. The well will hit 12,000 feet in the Caro, JA Survey, A-13. It may also be drilled in the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.

  • Navarro County

    The Montgomery Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled 9.1 miles south of Kerens in the Cheneyboro (Cotton Valley) Field. XTO Energy will drill the well to 10,900 feet in the Mason, J Survey, A-526.

    Panola County

  • Devon Energy will drill four new wells Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The Williamson Well No. 22 is 3.9 miles southwest of Carthage in the Graves, GN Survey, A-238 and will hit 12,500 feet. The Fite Unit Well No. 19 is 3.7 miles northwest of Carthage in the Roberts, GB Survey, A-565 and will hit 13,000 feet. The Dennard Unit Well No. 15 is three miles southeast of Carthage in the Mann, MV Survey, A-485 and will hit 13,000 feet. The Whitaker Unit Well No. 21 is 2.6 miles northwest of Carthage in the Scantlebury, W Survey, A-598 and will hit 13,000 feet.

  • The Summers Unit Well No. 1H, the Thompson Unit Well No. 20 and the Williamson Well No. 23 will be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Devon Energy. The No. 1H is 11 miles southwest of Carthage and will hit 14,000 feet in the Strickland, M Survey, A-597 and may be drilled in a wildcat field. The No. 20 will be drilled 2.8 miles northeast of Carthage to 13,000 feet in the Witherspoon, AM Survey, A-753. The No. 23 will be drilled 4.4 miles southwest of Carthage to 12,500 feet in the Boucher, GG Survey, A-77.

  • In a lease 10 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Lower Pettit 6100) Field, the Beckham Well No. 7 will be drilled by Sojitz Energy Venture. The well will be drilled to 9,900 feet in the Johnson, A Survey, A-349. It may also be drilled in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field or the Carthage, South (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Devon Energy will drill the Gales, Wiley Well No. 3 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be drilled to 13,000 feet in the Parmer, J Survey, A-899. Location is 10.3 miles northeast of Carthage.

  • Robertson County

  • The BR Becktold Gas Unit Well No. 2 is 6.5 miles east of Franklin in the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field. This well is in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32. Burlington Resources O&G will drill the well to 17,100 feet.

  • Chesapeake Operating will drill the Neff Well No. 1 7.7 miles southeast of Franklin in a wildcat field. The well will hit 18,500 feet in the Stephen H. Eaton Survey, A-10.

  • In a lease 4.7 miles northwest of Franklin, in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Law Unit Well No. 14 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas. The well will hit 14,600 feet in the McGee, WH Survey, A-220.

  • Rusk County

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Vinson Gas Unit Well No. 16 eight miles west of Tatum in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will hit 13,000 feet in the Simpson, D Survey, A-37 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The G. Beggs Trust Well No. 1 is 10.4 miles west of Henderson and the Grissom Heirs Well No. 1 is 10.6 miles southwest of Henderson, both in a wildcat field. The G. Beggs Trust Well No. 1 will be drilled to 12,200 feet in the Roan, WJ Survey, A-680. The Grissom Heirs Well No. 1 will be drilled to 12,500 feet in the Gorman, P Survey, A-320. Both wells will be drilled by Davis Oil & Gas.

  • In a lease 5.4 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Nana Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 10 will be drilled by Sandridge Onshore. The well will hit 12,000 feet in the Peck, SR Survey, A-620. It may be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • The Whitehead Well No. 1 will be drilled 5.7 miles west of Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. Chinn Exploration will hit 11,250 feet in the Smith, HM Survey, A-702.

  • In a lease seven miles northwest of Henderson, in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field, the Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11 will be drilled by Forest Oil Corp. This well will hit 11,500 feet in the Pena, MV Survey, A-27.

  • Chinn Exploration will drill the Ras Redwine Well No. 4 in the Henderson, East (Cotton valley) Field. The well will hit 12,500 feet six miles east of Henderson in the Piburn, J Survey, A-28.

  • The Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 will be drilled 2.8 miles northeast of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be drilled to 12,000 feet in the Lane, EC Survey, A-490.

  • San Augustine County

    The Timberstar-Mills Well No. 5H will be drilled 4.4 miles southeast of Aiken in the Angie (James Lime) Field by Southwestern Energy in the HT&B RR Co./Mills, LJ Survey, A-574. This well will hit 7,600 feet and may be drilled in the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field or a wildcat field.

    Shelby County

  • The Graves Well No. 6B will be drilled 2.8 miles northwest of Stockman in a wildcat field. This well will hit 9,600 feet drilled by EnerQuest Corp. It is in the Humphreys, B Survey, A-285 and may also be drilled in the Garrison (Travis Peak) Field.

  • In a lease 16.7 miles southeast of Center, in the Bridges, East (James Lime) Field, the Dunn Well No. 1H will be drilled by Ellora Operating. This well will hit 7,000 feet in the Biggs, A Survey, A-59.

  • Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Timberstar-Rusk B593 Well No. 3 in a wildcat field. The well will hit 9,000 feet in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-593 and may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.


  • COMPLETIONS
    Cherokee County

    The Chiles GU B-1 Well No. 3 is 2.6 miles southwest of Troup in the Overton Field. Valence Operating completed the well to a depth of 13,185 feet and the well potentialed 1.168 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

    Freestone County

  • Valence Operating completed the Whatley “B” Well No. 5 and the Holmes “A” Well No. 15. The No. 5 is 1.3 miles northeast of Stewards Mill in the Stewards Mill Field with a depth of 12,070 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 373,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation. The No. 15 is three miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field with a depth of 14,290 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.630 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.



  • The Holmes “A” Well No. 14 has been completed by Valence Operating in the Farrar Field. This well is three miles south of Donie with a depth of 14,358 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.319 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.



  • On a 30/64-inch choke, the Storey “A” Well No. 4 potentialed 14.893 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is three miles southeast of Lanely in the Dowdy Ranch Field. Anadarko Petroleum completed the well to a depth of 15,250 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Harrison County



  • GMX Resources completed the Blocker Heirs Well No. 28D in the Carthage, North Field. This well is eight miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,047 feet. This well potentialed 1.295 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • The Gulley 1 GU Well No. 15, the Gulley 1 GU Well No. 12 and the Bookout Well No. 7 have been completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Carthage, North Field. No location was recorded for the No. 15 well. This well hit 10,108 feet and potentialed 783,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. The No. 12 is 2.2 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 9,994 feet. This well potentialed 1.228 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. The No. 7 is 3.4 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 10,020 feet. This well potentialed 1.704 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • BP America completed the Rosborough Gas Unit “B” Well No. 6 in the Blocker Field. This well bottoms at 10,565 feet and is 8.6 miles south of Marshall. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 924,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • The Downer SWD Well No. 3 has been completed by Winchester Production in the Waskom Field. The well hit 6,025 feet. Location is 6.5 miles west of Waskom. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Gloyd formation.

  • Gregg County

    The Allen Took GU Well No. 8 is two miles west of White Oak in the White Oak Field. This well bottoms at 10,875 feet drilled by Exco Partners Operating. This well potentialed 670,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

    Nacogdoches County



  • The Jerry Sutton Well No. 1 is 13.4 miles northeast of Lufkin in the Gates Field. This well was completed to a depth of 11,832 feet by Goodrich Petroleum. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 900,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.



  • Gauged on a .75-inch choke, the Trawick GU 17 Well No. 9-C potentialed 963,000 cubic feet of gas per day. This well 2.7 miles east of Cushing in the Trawick Field. Exxon Mobil completed the well to a depth of 8,905 feet. Production is in the Pettit formation.



  • Chesapeake Operating has completed the Temple Inland GU Well No. 7 in the Naconiche Creek Field. It is 6.1 miles northwest of Mayo and hit 9,137 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 533,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Panola County



  • Samson Lone Star has completed the Furrh “B” Well No. 5 in the Carthage, North Field. This well hit at 9,990 feet four miles south of DeBerry. On a 32/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 388,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • The Sallie J. Neal Unit Well No. 10-H is 6.6 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Anadarko E&P drilled the well to 9,077 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.617 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • In a lease 4.50 miles southwest of Elysian Field, in the Carthage, North Field, the McJimsey Gas Unit Well No. 8 has been completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. This well bottoms at 10,185 feet and potentialed 800,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • The Pitts A Unit Well No. 9 is 8.8 miles southeast of Carthage and the Panola 2 Unit Well No. 15 is 8.3 miles southeast of Carthage. ConocoPhillips Co. has completed the wells in the Carthage Field. The No. 9 bottoms at a depth of 9,510 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke it 1.473 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 15 bottoms at a depth of 9,565 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke it potentialed 832,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • On an adjustable choke, the Pope-Medlin Well No. 2 potentialed 529,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well was completed 16.1 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field by Petroquest Energy. This well hit 7,050 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.



  • The TXU-Tatum Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 potentialed 2.776 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. The well was completed to a depth of 10,593 feet by Preston Exploration in the Beckville Field. No location was recorded. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • Goodrich Petroleum has completed the Taylor Bros. Well No. 2 and the RM Shaw GU Well No. 2 in the Beckville Field. The Taylor Bros. Well No. 2 is 1.9 miles west of Fairplay and hit 10,200 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.058 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The RM Shaw GU Well No. 2 is 1.7 miles northwest of Fairplay and hit 10,243 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 527,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • On an adjustable choke, the Graves Estate Well No. 15-H potentialed 1.788 million cubic feet of gas per day. It is 7.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Devon Energy completed the well to a depth of 9,253 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • Chevron U.S.A. completed the T.C. Adams NCT 1 Well No. 68 in the Bethany Field. This well is 5.1 miles southeast of DeBerry and hit 6,000 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke it flowed with 46.17 barrels of crude per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Robertson County



  • The Bald Prairie Field has seen the Blair, John Well No. 27 completed by Coronado Energy E&P. This well is 12.6 miles northeast of Franklin and hit 12,500 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.934 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.



  • EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Marshall, Sybil Unit Well No. 1 in the Bald Prairie Field. This well hit 12,850 feet 4.5 miles northeast of Franklin. Gauged on an adjustable choke it potentialed 2.690 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.



  • Chesapeake Operating has completed the Spence Well No. 1 2.2 miles northwest of Wheelock in the Savell Field. The well potentialed 1.730 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Total depth is 16,800 feet. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.

  • Rusk County



  • In a lease 20.9 miles northeast of Henderson, in the Oak Hill Field, the Burford & Blow G.U. 1 Well No. 16 has been completed by Anadarko E&P. It hit at 10,688 feet and potentialed 516,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • Goodrich Petroleum completed the J. Pricer GU Well No. 4 and the J. Pricer GU well No. 3 in the Beckville Field. The No. 4 is 12.6 miles north of Henderson and hit 10,431 feet. This well potentialed 602,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 3 is 10.3 miles east of Henderson and hit 10,388 feet. This well potentialed 733,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Major Kennedy Estate Gas Unit Well No. 13 potentialed 708,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well was completed 19.4 miles northeast of Henderson in the Oak Hill Field. Anadarko E&P completed the well to 10,650 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • San Augustine County



  • The Angie Field has seen the Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 3 completed by Cabot Oil & Gas. This well is 12 miles southwest of Center and hit 7,207 feet. On a 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 15.164 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.



  • Southwestern Energy completed the Timberstar 350 Well No. 1 in the Martinsville Field. The well hit 10,595 feet and potentialed 2.443 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 29/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Shelby County



  • On an adjustable choke, the McSwain Well No. 3 potentialed 1.654 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is located 8.6 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman Field. Devon Energy has completed the well to a depth of 12,535 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • The Adams GU Well No. 1 is 10 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman Field. The well was completed to a depth of 11,500 feet by CW Resources. This well potentialed 331,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 0.5-inch choke.



  • Classic Operating completed the D.R. Taylor Heirs Well No. 10 in the Joaquin Field. This well hit 8,882 feet 5.5 miles south of Joaquin. On a 1-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.552 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.



  • The Bedrock Well No. 1R has been completed by Samson Lone Star in the Huxley Field. This well hit 3,213 feet and is 12.5 miles southeast of Shelbyville. This well flowed with 228 barrels of crude per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Fredricksburg formation.

  • Upshur County



  • The R.A. Hinson Gas Unit Well No. 11 is 6.8 miles southeast of Gilmer in the Rosewood Field. Verado Energy, Inc. The well hit at 10,520 feet and potentialed 750,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.



  • In a lease three miles north of Longview, in the Glenwood Field, the South Brawley Well No. 8 has been completed by Exco Partners Operating Partnership. This well hit 11,125 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 648,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
