  • LONGVIEW - City of Longview Sign Task Force, public meeting, 3 p.m., city hall, 300 W. Cotton St.

  • WHITEHOUSE - Whitehouse Planning & Zoning meeting, 6:30 p.m., Council Chamber 2, 311 E. Main St.

  • ELKHART - Elkhart ISD, special meeting, 6 p.m., middle school library. Discuss changing contracts of special programs and curriculum directors.

  • PALESTINE - Palestine City Council, regular meeting, 5:30 p.m., 504 N. Queen.

  • BIG SANDY - Big Sandy ISD, regular meeting, 6:30 p.m., board room.

  • HENDERSON - Rusk County Commissioners, 10 a.m., courthouse. Consider approving a contract with architects for the Rusk County Jail expansion.

  • BIG SANDY - Big Sandy City Council, regular meeting, city hall, 100 N. Tyler. Take action on auditorium property.

  • ATHENS - Henderson County Commissioners, regular meeting, 9 a.m., courthouse. Consider contract for electricity.

  • TATUM - Tatum ISD, regular meeting, 7 p.m., administration building, 510 Crystal Farms Road. Administer oath to new board members.

  • CANTON - Canton Economic Development Board, regular meeting, 6 p.m., city hall, 290 E. Tyler St. Elect president and vice president.

  • TYLER COUNCIL TV

    Tyler City Council meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on local government access cable channel 3. Tyler Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the same channel.

    TISD TV

    Tyler ISD Board of Trustees meetings air at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and are rebroadcast at 2 p.m. the following Saturday and 8 p.m. the following Sunday on TISD TV cable channel 19. Regular board meetings typically take place at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.
