The half-cent sales tax has served Old Tyler and New Tyler well. A city is like a house, it must be kept up to make it a home.
Laura Corbett understands the half-cent tax concept as it funds upkeep of the city. The funds have been well managed and a source of pride to Tylerites north, south, east and west.
As for business ability, working with Realtors of the area, Chamber of Commerce and Heart of Tyler combine to make Laura Corbett prepared to be Tyler's mayor.
