February of this year my father passed away, leaving behind some tough tax problems. As my mother sat in a local tax preparation office she began to cry as she was told the estate owed the IRS a lot of money. Not only had my mother just lost her husband, now she was overwhelmed with obligations.

As we sat in her office she was not only able to refigure the estate taxes and reduce the bill by half with her expert knowledge, but she also took time to give my mother comfort in her loss. Knowing my father took care of all finances, Barbara also took time to give my mother financial guidance on how to work through other financial issues.

For the first time since the loss of my father, I felt warm hearted as I was sitting at my desk a week later and received a phone call from Barbara. She wanted to personally know how my mother was dong and if she was satisfied with the tax results. To know someone who has such a busy schedule and many clients took time out just to say she was thinking of my family is amazing.

My family is not "well known" in Tyler but yet Barbara Bass treated us as though we were royalty in every aspect. My family will always be grateful not only for her business knowledge that helped save the estate thousands of dollars but the caring personality she holds for each person she meets.
