WEDNESDAY, MAY 7

TYLER - Tyler Historical Preservation Board, regular meeting, noon, Tyler Devel-opment Center, 423 W. Ferguson St. Discuss and consider a Half Mile of History application for Thomas Booker Butler; also discuss the possible designation of the downtown elevated storage tank, located west of the 600 block of N. Broadway and north of the Goodman Museum, as a Tyler Historic Landmark.

THURSDAY, MAY 8

LONGVIEW - Longview City Council meeting, 5:30 p.m., Metcalf Building, 300 W. Cotton St. Consider the Fredonia Street Improvements Project.

TYLER - Tyler Historic Preservation Board, called meeting, 4 p.m., S.H. Kress and Company building, 116 W. Erwin St. Present a plaque designating the S.H. Kress and Company building as a Tyler Historic Landmark.

TYLER COUNCIL TV

Tyler City Council meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on local government access cable channel 3. Tyler Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the same channel.

TISD TV

Tyler ISD Board of Trustees meetings air at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and are rebroadcast at 2 p.m. the following Saturday and 8 p.m. the following Sunday on TISD TV cable channel 19. Regular board meetings typically take place at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.
