Mother's Day is around the corner, and if you're like most moms, all you are hoping for is a few kind words, a hug and kiss and maybe a few minutes to yourself.

Additional Mother's Day Ideas:
Potting Plants

Other Good Mother's Day Ideas
Children often find Mother's Day an opportunity to display a craft they've learned to make or make a go of breakfast in bed. But any good project means planning. So before Mom wakes up on May 11, make sure the kiddos are prepared.

Begin Mother's Day early. Dads, grandparents and friends, help the little ones come up with an idea so they feel good about honoring their mother. Think of small crafts that can accompany a brunch you plan together or a breakfast in bed.

Have the children work on the crafting, while the adult prepares the meal. Once the ovens are off, the chopping done and the stove is cool, let them help with presentation.

Included are a few ideas to get the ball rolling, but the Internet provides a wealth of ideas. Don't forget all the projects they work on at day care or school in preparation for this day, such as potting plants.
