CRAFT IDEA: Decorate a heavy piece of 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch cardboard with pictures, drawings, poems, etc. Place the artwork between two sheets of clear contact paper. Use the placemat to serve mom her Mother's Day breakfast in bed.
CRAFT IDEA: Decorate a heavy piece of 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch cardboard with pictures, drawings, poems, etc. Place the artwork between two sheets of clear contact paper. Use the placemat to serve mom her Mother's Day breakfast in bed.
CRAFT IDEA: Create a homemade card, complete with cutout flowers or a drawn picture of the family inside. Nothing is too much for Mom, so be creative. Most likely, Mom will want to hang on to this artwork for years to come. (See recipe for above photo Page 3C.)
CRAFT IDEA: Macaroni necklaces are easy and fun, and Mom may also want matching bracelets.
Start by cutting an 20-inch piece of string, fishing line or necklace wire. Tie a knot in one end. Next, thread the dry noodles onto the string, using as many as it takes. Tie off the end. Next, tie the two ends together. (Make sure the necklace will fit over Mom's head.)
You may also choose to color the noodles with markers or finger paint or alternate noodles and colorful beads.
