May 6: 'Dead Man's Curve' Needs Improvements
My husband and I would like to thank all the people who stopped at our accident a week ago Sunday. A special thank you to Louis Moe and his son. They stayed with us and called 911. We have been in this area for a week and were surprised that so many people stopped and offered to help. Luckily we only had bumps and bruises.

We had our accident on FM 315 under the Chandler water tower, known as Dead Man's Curve. We heard there are accidents there all the time -- one happened 45 minutes after ours. With that being a dangerous area of road, why isn't something done? The speed limit sign says 50 mph. Wouldn't it be smart to lower that to 35 mph or put up flashing lights? Something should be done the road was so slippery. I compared it to black ice.
