May 6: Know Whereof You Speak
RESPONSE: I agree with Mr. Ludwick (Raves, Rants, & Roses, dated 5/4/08). Ms. Wright and the other Catholic critics should attend a Catholic Church before they write their insults. When you walk in a Catholic Church, it is quiet and the people are on their knees praying or sitting quietly (not gossiping).
I was raised in the Assembly of God church and was baptized in the Baptist Church.
I no longer attend the Baptist Church. I attend the Catholic Church with my husband (he is Catholic). My sister still attends the Baptist Church and has been asked where I attend. The responses have been rolled eyes and the sign of the cross. I received a note from a Sunday School member saying she was praying for me. I prayed many years for my husband to return to the church. My prayers were answered. I guess God does like the Catholics after all.
