May 6: Eye-Opener
REASONING: I have just finished reading two books that were written by women who lived the life as wives of men who controlled them like puppets and brain washed them and treated them as slaves. The books are “Escape” by Carolyn Jessop, and “God’s Brothel” by Andrea Moore-Emmett.
Carolyn Jessop’s ex-husband, Merill Jessop, is the main Father at the (Yearning for) Zion (Ranch) at Eldorado. These books are about the extortion of sex for salvation in Contemporary Mormon and Christian Fundamentalist Polygamy. And all the welfare fraud that keeps the men from working and still build something as beautiful as their temple and all the sick stuff that goes on inside. Those men are hiding behind religion for gratifying their sex drive.
If everyone would read these two books and believe just part of what all these women wrote about their life in the FLDS cult, then there would be more passion for the women and those young girls and boys. I am appalled at what goes on right under our nose and we allow it to happen.
The reason the women and mothers are not speaking up down at Eldorado is because they will be punished and made to be the slave to his other many wives. May God have mercy on all the little children all over the world that are being abused.
