May 6: Person Of Character
I have had the pleasure of knowing Barbara Bass the past 6 years. She has always been a person of character and high moral standards. This has been the foundation for her many successes in life.
Barbara has always been involved and concerned for our community at a level of commitment that continuously amazes me. She has always had the time to help and inspire others making Tyler a better place for us all. Barbara also makes time for anyone who has questions or concerns about business or various other issues in our community.
Her ability to lead is an inspiration to many men and women in Tyler. The time she has put into our community through her many volunteer positions has made me see and understand the difference between someone who settles for mediocrity and someone who achieves greatness. She is someone who could truly lead us into the next phase I feel Tyler is progressing toward.
She is a person who has so many necessary strengths for such a demanding leadership position. These strengths would allow her to get many great things accomplished in our city. Tyler would be greatly served having a mayor with Barbara Bass' character and business acumen. I feel she would improve upon our great city of Tyler. Barbara Bass is someone who defines greatness.
