May 5: Let's Be Tolerant of All Faiths
Thanks to Jack Ludwick for his excellent letter on Catholicism. I, too, am a convert to Roman Catholicism after having been Methodist and Episcopalian.

I have discovered during my 12 years in East Texas that the lack of tolerance the Protestants have against the Catholics is simply due to a lack of knowledge of our fundamental differences.

Strangely enough, I have never noticed this problem in other areas of the United States in which I have lived. The basic thread we have in common, though, is that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ and traverse this journey in life together and with the same goals in mind.

Let's be tolerant of all faiths. We may not always agree with their church leaders or everything that is preached or said from the pulpits of their churches, but tolerance is still the best option.
