May 5: Solid Candidates
Tyler is extremely fortunate this political season to have two solid candidates for the position of Tyler mayor.
Both candidates have had experience with government and community nonprofits. However, Barbara Bass, in my opinion, has a leg up with local and regional business experience. On a daily basis over the last 20-plus years, Barbara has consulted with business owners, set financial goals and worked creatively to make those goals happen.
Our current mayor has outlined the goals for Tyler in the 21st century. I firmly believe that with the vision for Tyler set, we need a proven individual who can make those goals a reality.
Barbara, you have my donation dollars and my vote for mayor.
