May 4: Dry It Out
REPLY: In response to an article in Sunday's Tyler's Courier-Times--Telegraph concerning the issue that will be on the ballot May 10 about the requirements for private memberships in bars and restaurants in Tyler.

One of said owners states they are not trying to bring liquor stores into Tyler, or turn this into a wet county. We have heard for years that Smith County is one of the wettest counties in Texas. I am for making it much harder for liquor to be served in our restaurants.

Shame on us that people are more concerned about their monetary profits than they are the well-being of our families.
