Whitehouse Students Participate In State Science Fair
Whitehouse Holloway Middle School students Jack Terrell (left) and Jeffrey Yeager participated in the state science fair in San Antonio.

Terrell’s project was called Brain Boost. He tested students to see if exercise would affect their scores on a math quiz. He placed honorable mention at state, but he had placed sixth at regional science fair in Kilgore and second at Tyler Junior College district science fair.

Yeager’s project was called “In Honor of the King” where he tested different weights on a fixed and hinged point on a trebuchet to see which would throw the ball the farthest. He did not place at state, but had placed fourth at regional and he placed second at TJC.
