COMPLETE TRAINING
Army Pvt. Johnathon Hall has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

A 2004 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, he is the son of Gary and Jacque-lynn Hall, of Tyler. He is now stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga.

Army Staff Sgt. Corneluis Williams has arrived for duty in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Williams, a recruiter, is assigned at the Northeast Army Career Center, Denver Army Recruiting Battalion. The staff sergeant has served in the military for 12 years.

He is the son of Donald Williams and Helen Williams, both of Tyler. He is a 1995 graduate of John Tyler High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. Jeremy F. Hicks graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

He is the son of Angie Montgomery, of Tyler, and a 2005 graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Tyler.

Army Pfc. James C. Phipps and Army Pvt. Michael L. Westbrook have graduated from Basic Combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Phipps, grandson of Phyllis Martin, of Quitman, is a 2005 graduate of Keller High School.

Westbrook is the son of Robert P. Westbrook and Jody D. Westbrook, both of Jacksonville. He is a 2007 graduate of Jacksonville High School.

Air Force Airman Gregory T. McCullough, David L. Ford and Tyler G. Wise have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

McCullough is the son of Kathleen McCullough and Royce McCullough, both of Jacksonville. He is a 2007 graduate of Jacksonville High School.

Ford is the grandson of Charles Roper, and son of Charlotte Ford, both of Jacksonville. He is a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville High School.

Wise is the son of Steve and stepson of Tonya Wise, of Big Sandy. His mother and stepfather, Suzanne and Mark Bennett, reside in Kemp. He is a 2004 graduate of Van High School.


REUNIONS
Aleutian Island World War II veterans will unite May 10-12 in Perryville, Mo., and Nov. 30-Dec. 2 in Lancaster, Pa. All service branches are welcome.

This reunion will commemorate the 65th anniversary of American veterans who fought the Battle of Attu and Kiska, landing on Attu May 11 and Kiska Aug. 15, 1943.
