Freestone County

The Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see the M.T. Peyton GU 1 Well No.17H drilled by Devon Energy Production Company, L.P. It will be located 5.4 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Palacios, M R Survey, A-20 and will bottom at 13,500 feet.

XTO Energy Inc. will drill three additional wells. The Bailey “A” Well No.9 will be located 0.5 miles west of Donie in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. It will bottom at 14,800 feet in the Peck, N Survey, A-820 and may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field. The Bell Gas Unit Well No.12 will be located 4.3 miles south of Teague and will bottom at 13,600 feet. The Bell Gas Unit Well No.13 will be located 4.4 miles south of Teague and will bottom at 12,300 feet. The two wells will lie in the Bohringer, J C Survey, A-84 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

Angelina County

The Crossman Jerome Well No. 3 will be drilled 2.57 miles northeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will be drilled to a depth of 12,300 feet in the Postley, W A Survey, A-511 by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc.

EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill the Angelina Lumber Well No.2 in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will bottom at 12,300 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201, and is located 2.59 miles northeast of Wells.

Gregg County

In a lease 1.6 miles southeast of Longview, in a Wildcat Field, the Bivins Heirs Well No.1 will be drilled to a depth of 12,000 feet by Buffco Production, Inc. This well will lie in the Jordan, A Survey, A-262 and may also be drilled in the Willow Springs (Varga T.P) Field, the Willow Springs (Pettit, Upper) Field, the Willow Springs (Pettit, Lower) Field or the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field.

Harrison County

Samson Lone Star, LLC will drill the Southwestern Medical Foundation Well No.11 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Dougherty, P Survey, A-5 seven miles northwest of Waskom. It may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Penn Virginia Oil & Gas, L.P. will drill seven new wells in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells are designated the Spencer Gas Unit Wells No. 10, No. 11, No. 12, No. 13, No. 14, No. 15 and No. 16. These wells will be located 3.4 miles northeast of Crossroads in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145.

In a lease six miles southeast of Marshall, in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field, the Deutsch Well No. 2 will be drilled by Preston Exploration LLC. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Hall, H Survey, A-10. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.

The Davis, Jim Etal Well No. 12 will be drilled 1.6 miles northwest of Waskom in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. this well will bottom at 13,000 feet drilled by Devon Energy Production Company, L.P. This well will lie in the Crofford, P Survey, A-174.

Samson Lone Star, LLC will drill the Ruppe Trust 1 Well No. 1 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be located nine miles east of Marshall in the Lenville, W Survey, A-398 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

The James A. Ruppe, Et Al Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled 3.5 miles southeast of Morton in a Wildcat Field. This well will bottom at 9,000 feet drilled by EnerVest Operating, L.L.C. in the SP RR Co. Survey, A-698. This well may also be drilled in the Lansing, North (Travis Peak) Field.

Craton Energy Holdings III, LP will drill the Cannon Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field to a depth of 11,500 feet. It will be located two miles southwest of Hallsville in the Hooper, R Survey, A-304.

The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see the LeTourneau Gas Unit 6 Well No. 19 drilled by Anadarko E&P Company LP. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Pearson, T K Survey, A-586. Location will be 17.6 miles southwest of Marshall.

In a lease 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Mercer Well No. 9 will be drilled by GMX Resources Inc. This well will bottom at 11,800 feet in the Smith, Wm. Survey, A-21. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field.

O’Benco, Inc.will drill the Jenkins “A” Unit Well No. 13 and the Jenkins “A” Unit Well No. 14 to a depth of 10,350 feet in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will be located 9.2 miles south of Marshall in the Carrol, E Survey,. A-135. Both wells may also be drilled in the Blocker (Page) Field, the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field, the Blocker (Rodessa) Field or a Wildcat Field.

The J.W. Joiner GU 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled 7.5 miles northwest of Waskom in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be drilled by Samson Lone Star, LLC to a depth of 13,000 feet in the Fuller, F Survey, A-8. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Waskom (Cotton Valley, Oil) Field.

Leon County

The Swanson Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled one mile west of Jewett in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will be drilled to a depth of 18,500 feet in the McBeath, J D Survey, A-596 by XTO Energy Inc. This well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field or the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.

Limestone County

The TXU Mining Company Unit “B” Well No. 2 and the TXU Mining Company North Well No. 3 will be drilled by Approach Operating LLC. The No. 2 will be drilled seven miles northwest of Bald Prairie in the Ellis, W L Survey, A-183. The No. 3 well will be drilled 8.5 miles northwest of Bald Prairie in the Lynenburg, C Survey, A-316. Both wells will be drilled to a depth of 12,600 feet in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Tumlinson “A” #1 Gas Unit Well No. 5 and the Tumlinson “A” #1 Gas Unit Well No. 7 to a depth of 14,500 feet in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field. The No. 5 will be located 16.2 miles southeast of Groesbeck. The No. 7 will be located 16 miles southeast of Groesbeck. Both wells will lie in the Rejon, M C Survey, A-26 and may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.

The Cooper Well No. 1 will be drilled 5.7 miles southwest of Teague in a Wildcat Field. It will be drilled by Stroud Petroleum, Inc. to a depth of 14,000 feet in the Plummer, J P Survey, A-447. This well may also be drilled in the Personville (Travis Peak) Field, the Personville, North (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Personville (Rodessa) Field.

Nacogdoches County

The Franki Marie GU 1 Well No. 2 will be drilled ten miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field by Samson Lone Star, LLC. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Bullock, W N Survey, A-100. This well may also be drilled in the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a Wildcat Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field.

Goodrich Petroleum Co. will drill the Haskins Trust Well No. 1 and the Seelco Well No. 1 in a Wildcat Field to a depth of 12,500 feet. The Haskins Trust Well No. 1 will be located 11.1 miles southeast of Nacogdoches. The Seelco Well No. 1 will be located 11.3 miles southeast of Nacogdoches. Both wells will lie in the De Torres, P Survey, A-55 and may also be drilled in the Gates (Travis Peak) Field.

In a lease 1.9 miles east of Garrison in the Garrison (Travis Peak) Field, the Garrison Gas Unit 1 Well No. 7R will be drilled by EnerQuest Corp. This well will bottom at 9,600 feet in the Graham, H Survey, A-222.

Navarro County

Corsicana Oil & Gas will drill the Cerf, Eugenia Well No. 1F in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field. This well will be located five miles southeast of Corsicana in the James Smith Survey, A-726. Total depth will be 1,500 feet.

Panola County

In a lease 9.7 miles southwest of Carthage, in a Wildcat Field, the M. K. Anderson Well No. 1 will be drilled by AC Exploration, LLC to a depth of 12,000 feet. It will lie in the Mc Gowan, A J Survey, A-426 and may also be drilled in the Carthage, Southwest (Pettit) Field, the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Carthage (Rodessa) Field, the Carthage, Southwest (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage, South (Cotton Valley) Field or the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.

Preston Exploration LLC will drill the Beckville Well No. 2 in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be located 5.1 miles northwest of Beckville in the Waters, J H Survey, A-760. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, the Beckville, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field or the Beckville, North (Pettit) Field.

The Tompkins Trust Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled 4.2 miles southwest rom Beckville in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field by XTO Energy Inc. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Spencer, J Survey, A-589.

In a lease 4.5 miles northeast of Beckville in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Lagrone Well No. 1 will be drilled by Texas American Resources Co. This well will bottom at 10,500 feet in the Lagrone, A Survey, A-391.

The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Burnett Unit 10 Well No. 14 drilled by Lacy Operations, Ltd. This well will be located 8.8 miles northeast of Carthage in the Campbell, F M Survey, A-151. Total depth will be 9,800 feet.

Robertson County

The Glynda McBeth Unit Well No. 12 will be drilled 4.4 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. to a depth of 14,000 feet in the Mc Gee, W H Survey, A-220.

EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill the Sybil Marshall Unit Well No. 2 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will be located 4.4 miles northeast of Franklin in the Gray, W F Survey, A-157. This well will bottom at 13,200 feet.

Rusk County

The Goodwin Well No. 2 will be drilled 2.43 miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled to a depth of 12,000 feet by Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. This well will lie in the Roberts, J Survey, A-682.

In a lease 1.66 miles southeast of Minden in a Wildcat Field, the Tipps Gas Unit Well No. 8 will be drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Vansickle, B A Survey, A-796. It may also be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field.

Sandridge Onshore, LLC will drill the Powell Gas Unit 1 Well No. 13 to a depth of 12,000 feet in a Wildcat Field. This well will be located 4.5 miles southeast of Henderson in the Jackson, T J Survey, A-15. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

Enduring Resources, LLC will drill the Baxter Well No. 1 and the Jarrell Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 1 will be located 1.8 miles south of Minden in the Rutland, J S Survey, A-659. The No. 2 will be located 3.1 miles northwest of Minden in the Birdwell, G Survey, A-108. Both wells will bottom at 11,300 feet and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a Wildcat Field.

The Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12, the Harrell Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 14 and the Fahle Well No. 14 will be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field by Fidelity Exploration & Productionj Co. to a depth of 12,000 feet. The Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12 will be located 2.99 miles northeast of Minden in the Lane, E C Survey, A-490. The Harrell Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 14 will be located 2.17 miles northeast of Minden in the Moore, J Survey, A-523. The Fahle Well No. 14 will be located 4.18 miles northeast of Minden in the Orrick, W Survey, A-613.

San Augustine County

The Timberstar-Tartt Well No. 1H will be drilled 1.6 miles north of Attoyac in the Angie (James Lime) Field. This well will be drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. to a depth of 7,600 feet in the Tartt, J T Survey, A-505. This well may also be drilled in the Martinsville, Southeas (James) Field or a Wildcat Field.

Shelby County

In a lease 5.9 miles northeast of Center in a Wildcat Field, the Adams, John W. Well No. 1 will be drilled by EOG Resources, Inc. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Carpetner, C Survey, A-114.

Smith County

The Berry Well No. 1 will be located two miles northeast of Noonday in the Noonday (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be drilled to a depth of 17,000 feet in the Quevedo, T Survey, A-18 by Valence Operating Co. This well may also be drilled in the Noonday (Rodessa) Field.

Goldston Oil Corp. will drill the McFarland, Eddie Well No. 1 in a Wildcat Field. This well will be located 0.38 miles northeast of Sand Flat in the Smith, S Survey, A-899. Total depth will be 12,000 feet.

Upshur County

The Barksdale, John Well No. 15 will be drilled in the Glenwood (Cotton Valley) Field by TXOK Texas Energy Resources, L.P. This well will bottom at 11,300 feet five miles north of Gladewater in the Edwards, H H Survey, A-668.

In a lease 7.7 miles northwest of Gilmer, in the Rosewood (Cotton Valley) Field, the J.W. Barber Well No. 3 will be drilled by Cross Creek Energy LLC. This well will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Vochery, J Survey, A-510.

Anderson County

The Loper Well No. 1-L is located three miles north of Cayuga in the Cayuga Field. This well was completed to a depth of 8,442 feet by Supreme Energy Company, Inc. When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 301,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit formation.

Angelina County

EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. has completed two new wells in the Raintree Field. The Crossman, Jerome Well No. 1 is located 2.55 miles northeast of Wells with a depth of 11,829 feet. This well potentialed 2.185 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 12/64-inch choke. The Ryan, E. M. Unit Well No. 6 is locat4ed six miles east of Wells with a depth of 11,835 feet. This well potentialed 4.187 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Hosston formation.

The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 8 potentialed 1.808 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 21/64-inch choke. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. has completed the well to a depth of 11,930 feet in the Raintree Field. Location is 2.93 miles east of Wells. Production is in the Hosston formation.

Freestone County

The Northern Gas Unit Well No. 13 is located two miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague Field. This well was drilled by Hunt Petroleum Corp. to bottom at 12,415 feet. When gauged on a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.436 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

XTO Energy Inc. has completed the B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 2.70 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. This well was completed to a depth of 13,055 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 529,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

There have been three additional wells completed by XTO Energy Inc. The Barnett Gas Unit Well No. 12 is located five miles southeast of Teague with a depth of 12,785 feet in the Teague Field. It was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.017 million cubic feet of gas. The Henderson-Lott No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 11 is located 4.80 miles southwest of Fairfield with a depth of 12,935 feet in the Teague Field. It was gauged on a 16/64-inch choke and potentialed 2.210 million cubic feet of gas. The Cagle Gas Unit Well No. 15 is located 6.20 miles north of Donie with a depth of 13,365 feet in the Freestone Field. This well was gauged on a 12/64-inch choke and potentialed 3.028 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the Worthy Well No. 6 potentialed 2.533 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. to a depth of 14,600 feet in the Bear Grass Field. Location is 2.2 miles south of Donie. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

Gregg County

The Burford & Blow G.U. 3 Well No. 16 is located 10.9 miles southeast of Longview in the Oak Hill Field. Anadarko E & P Company LP drilled the well to a depth of 10,634 feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.027 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the A.J. Tuttle G.U. Well No. 5 potentialed 487,000 cubic feet of natural gas. It is located four miles northwest of Longview in the Willow Springs Field. J-W Operating Co. drilled the well to a depth of 10,970 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Samson Lone Star, LLC has completed the Flanagan Well No. 10 in the Danville Field. This well is located four miles east of Kilgore with a depth of 10,874 feet. This well potentialed 2.307 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 17/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

Harrison County

GMX Resources Inc. has completed three additional wells in the Carthage, North Field. The Ella Nolte Well No. 7D is located 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,030 feet and potentialed 939,000 cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 30/64-inch choke. The Ella Nolte Well No. 6 is located 11.2 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 9,940 feet and potentialed 1.391 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on an open choke. The Blocker Heirs Well No. 10 is located eight miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,178 feet and potentialed 935,000 cubic feet of gas when gauged on an open choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

The Lowry Gas Unit Well No. 4 is located 4.3 miles east of Hallsville in the Oak Hill Field. Sandridge Exploration and Production, LLC completed the well to a depth of 10,585 feet. This well potentialed 921,000 cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 27/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

When gauged on a 1.75-inch choke, the JW Harrison Estate GU Well No. 1H potentialed 4.375 million cubic feet of natural gas. Wagner & Brown, Ltd. completed the well to a depth of 12,700 feet and is located 2.6 miles northwest of Karnack in the Woodlawn Field.

Comstock Oil & Gas, LP has completed the Bell Well No. 11AH to a depth of 9,478 feet in the Waskom Field. It is located 4.8 miles east of Crossroads. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.900 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

The Oak Hill Field has seen the Mary Louise Waldron Gas Unit Well No. 9 completed by SandRidge Exploration and Production, LLC. This well is located 7.3 miles southeast of Hallsville with a depth of 10,450 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 527,000 cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Leon County

The M.G. Burleson “A” Well No. 9U is located 5.3 miles northwest of Marquez in the Bear Grass Field. This well was completed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. with a depth of 13,970 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.526 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit formation.

Limestone County

The Tumlinson “A” #1 Gas Unit Well No. 3 and the B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11 have been completed in the Farrar Field by XTO Energy Inc. The No. 1 is located 15.90 miles southeast of Groesbeck and bottoms at 12,700 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.666 million cubic feet of gas. The No. 11 well is located 3.60 miles southwest of Donie and bottoms at 14,130 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.427 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

O’Benco, Inc. has completed the Alton Sims Well No. 15 and the Alton Sims Well No. 14 in the Freestone Field. The No. 15 bottoms at 13,325 feet and potentialed 2.801 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 18/64-inch choke. Location is 13.6 miles northwest of Jewett. The No. 14 bottoms at 13,250 feet and potentialed 3.830 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 20/64-inch choke. Location is 13.8 miles northwest of Jewett. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

Nacogdoches County

The Herrera, Manuel Well No. 16 potentialed 2.971 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 18/64-inch choke. This well was completed 14.5 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Nacogdoches, East Field. The Herrera Manuel Well No. 12 potentialed 1.830 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 21/64-inch choke. This well was completed 14.5 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Martinsville Field. Production is in the Pettit formation. Samson Lone Star, LLC completed the No. 16 well to a depth of 10,688 feet and the No. 12 to a depth of 10,480 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

The Trawick Field has seen the Trawick GU 9 Well No. 8, the Trawick GU 14 Well No. 7 and the Trawick GU 5 Well No. 11 completed by Exxon Mobil Corp. The No. 8 is located 3.06 miles southeast of Cushing with a depth of 8,900 feet. This well was gauged on a 0.75-inch choke and potentialed 2.752 million cubic feet of gas. The No. 7 is located 5.91 miles east of Cushing with a depth of 8,950 feet. This well was gauged on a 0.359-inch choke and potentialed 4.801 million cubic feet of gas. The No. 11 is located 3.22 miles southeast of Cushing with a depth of 8,876 feet. This well was gauged on a 0.75-inch choke and potentialed 2.494 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

In a lease 2.1 miles northwest of Mayo in the Naconiche Creek Field, the Curbow, W.D. Well No. 8 has been completed to a depth of 9,315 feet by Chesapeake Operating, Inc. It potentialed 1.572 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak formation.

When gauged on a 0.75-inch choke, the Trawick GU 12 Well No. 10-C potentialed 1.069 million cubic feet of natural gas. This well was completed by Exxon Mobil Corp. in the Trawick Field. Total depth is 8,900 feet. Location is 3.37 miles east of Cushing. Production is in the Pettit formation.
Panola County

The Ingram 2 Unit Well No. 11 is located 7.1 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. This well was completed to a depth of 9,419 feet by ConocoPhillips Co. This well was gauged on a 22/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.365 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Shelby County

The Hancock Well No. 2-C is located one mile southeast of Stockman in the Stockman Field. AC Exploration, LLC has completed the well to a depth of 11,400 feet. When gauged on a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 406,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
