'LITTLE PRINCE'
A musical version of The Little Prince, based on one of the world's best selling novels by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, continues this weekend in the Rogers Children's Theatre in the Tyler Civic Theatre Center.

Show times tonight and Saturday are 7 p.m. A Sunday matinee is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Tickets for the performance are $10 for adults and $8 for children and can be purchased online at www.tylercivictheatre.com or at the box office at 400 Rose Park Drive.

The theater doors open 30 minutes before each performance.

Written in 1943, Antoine Saint-Exupery's novella has been translated into more than 180 languages and dialects and has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide, according to theater officials.

The story is a simple, but profound fantasy.

Its essence is expressed in the famous line uttered by the fox to the Little Prince: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

Director Felicity Enas' use of multimedia and other theatrical effects makes sure that plenty meets the eye.
