RAVES and roses to the Tyler City Police. As I was returning from lunch (April 24 at 12:30), two cars turned left on a red light at Loop 323 and Broadway. It was such a blatant disregard of others that I blasted my car horn at them. Just as I did that, I noticed that a patrol car that had been stopped at the northbound Broadway light had already turned on his flashing lights and was making a U-turn to follow these cars. I was so happy to see that he was aware of what happened.

So many drivers in Tyler have such little regard for others. I hope the patrolmen gave both of those drivers a ticket, but even if he didn't, it was so nice to see him take action for their blatant disregard of traffic safety.

Keep up the good work, officer, whoever you are.
