April 28: Ordinary Young Men
So, William's and Harry's reputations have been hurt. Harry, reportedly a gallant soldier, smoked pot years ago, as did a presidential candidate. And, William, reportedly pampered and overindulged, is guilty of helicopter antics.
What is this world coming to?
I was a 20-year Navy helicopter pilot. I flew low and slow over Fire Island n New York chasing dogs on the beach, landed in farmer's fields in South Alabama to load my helicopter down with watermelons, dropped notes to pretty girls sunbathing on Jacksonville Beach, and found myself upside down in the Mediterranean Sea, all of this in between flying the line during the Cuban Missile Crisis, flying helicopter gunships in Vietnam, and setting a world altitude record in New Jersey. And being reluctant to mention being Admiral John McCain's personal pilot in Virginia.

What Prince William and Prince Harry reveal to me is that they are just plain ordinary young men doing what plain ordinary young men do for fun. King 'em both.
