Multiple Wells Scheduled For Rusk County

DEVELOPMENTAL
Rusk County

  • The Spikes Gas Unit Well No. 16 will be drilled 4.5 miles east of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to 12,000 feet by Sandridge Onshore. It is in the Peck, SR Survey, A-620 and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • In a lease 5.5 miles east of Henderson, in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Nana Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8 will be drilled to 12,000 by Sandridge Onshore in the White, J M Survey, A-813. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Carter, KF WH GU Well No. C 4 in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is 3.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Martin, D Survey, A-526 and will hit 12,000 feet.

  • The Stingray Gas Unit Well No. 6 is 6.7 miles southeast of Henderson in a wildcat field. El Paso E&P will drill the well to 11,200 feet in the Horton, A C Survey, A-363. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Wilder Gas Unit Well No. 1 drilled by Enduring Resources. This well will hit 11,400 feet 2.6 miles northwest of Minden in the Reel, H Survey, A-32. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Forest Oil will drill the Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 10H in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 5.8 miles northwest of Henderson in the Pena, MV Survey, A-27 and will hit 11,500 feet.

  • In a lease nine miles east of Henderson, in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Wilma Well No. 1 will be drilled by Reserve Management to 8,000 feet in the Mora, JA Survey, A-516.

  • Angelina County

    The Kurth Well No. 2 will be drilled 4.7 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. This well will hit 12,300 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201 drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc.

    Cherokee County

    Cordillera Texas will drill the Temple-Eastex G.U. No. 2 Well No. 4 to 12,000 feet. Location is 14.2 miles west of Rusk in a wildcat field in the Burnham, S Survey, A-9. This well may also be drilled in the Southern Pine (Travis Peak) Field or the Southern Pine (Rodessa) Field.

    Franklin County

    In a lease 3.2 miles southwest of Hagansport, in the Bagwell, South (Paluxy) Field, the LaQuita Well No. 1 will be drilled by Sulphur River Exploration. This well will be drilled to 5,600 feet in the Whiteside, JL Survey, A-528 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Freestone County

  • The Teague (Travis Peak) Field will see the Free-Tex S.W.D. Well No. 2 drilled by Key Energy Services. This well is five miles east of Teague in the Luna, G Survey, A-18 and will hit 5,100 feet.

  • O'Ryan Oil and Gas will drill the Steward Well No. 1 is 12.8 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 13,000 feet in the Blevins, J Survey, A-73 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 3.7 miles south of Teague, in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Curry "A" Gas Unit II Well No. 4 will be drilled by XTO Energy. This well will hit 13,400 feet in the Ferguson, J Survey, A-227.

  • Gregg County

    In a lease .01 miles north of Longview, in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field, the J.C.&R.S. McKinley GU Well No. 6 will be drilled by TXOK Texas Energy. This well will hit 11,30 feet in the Hooper, GW Survey, A-92.

    Harrison County

  • Anadarko E&P will drill the LeTourneau Gas Unit 6 Well No. 16 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 17.6 miles southwest of Marshall in the Pearson, TK Survey, A-586 and will hit 12,000 feet.

  • The Green, F. C. Well No. 11H will be drilled 3.8 miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field by Comstock Oil & Gas. This well will be drilled to a depth of 9,700 feet in the Field, JE Survey, A-266.

  • In a lease 4.3 miles east of Longview, in a wildcat field, the Gatlin Well No. 1 will be drilled to 12,000 feet by NFR Energy. This well will lie in the Mason, R Survey, A-438 and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Travis Peak) Field or the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see Craton Energy Holdings drill the Summers Gas Unit Well No. 3. This well is 4.2 miles southwest of Hallsville in the Blair, Hrs J. Survey, A-74 and will hit 11,500 feet.

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Spencer Gas Unit Well No. 9 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 13,000 feet in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145.

  • The Narramore Well No. 12 will be drilled 1.2 miles northeast of Jonesville in a wildcat field to 9,800 feet by Winchester Production. It will lie in the Dunn, J C Survey, A-215 and may also be drilled in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Leon County

  • The Milton Golie Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled 4.1 miles southwest of Jewett in a wildcat field. This well will hit 11,100 feet in the Fryer, JA Survey, A-278 by Ensight III Energy Management. It may also be drilled in the McBee (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Ensight III Energy will drill the Clute Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8 in a wildcat field. It is one mile northeast of Jewett in the Tomlinson, JW Survey, A-863. The well will hit 11,200 feet and may also be drilled in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Limestone County

    Stroud Petroleum will drill the CW Oaks Estate Well No. 4 in the Personville, North (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It is eight miles southeast of Teague in the Palacios, M R Survey, A-21 and will hit 12,500 feet. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Marion County

    NFR Energy will drill the G. Beaird Well No. 3 to 10,500 feet in a lease four miles northwest of Karnack in a wildcat field in the Davis, FM Survey, A-463. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.

    Nacogdoches County

  • ExxonMobil Corp. will drill the Trawick Gas Unit 14 Well No. 8 in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field to a depth of 9,800 feet. This well is 5.6 miles east of Cushing in the Cervantes, D Survey, A-15. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Trawick (James) Field, the Trawick (Rodessa) Field or the Trawick (Pettit) Field.

  • EnerQuest Corp. will drill the Beech Creek Unit Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to 9,700 feet in the Acosta, JI Survey, A-63. Location is 6.6 miles northeast of Cushing. It may also be drilled in the Trawick, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick, North (Pettit) Field or the Trawick, North (Rodessa) Field.

  • Panola County

  • In a lease 3.8 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the CGU 9 Well No. 16 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P to 12,000 feet in the Beck, W Survey, A-76.

  • The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Frost Unit 5 Well No. 7 drilled by Anadarko E&P. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the McFaddin, J Survey, A-456 and is 9.3 miles northeast of Carthage.

  • Texas American Resources will drill the Hamilton, Glovier Well No. 9 to 10,500 feet in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is 3.1 miles northwest of Beckville in the Hamilton, WSurvey, A-272.

  • The Moore, Lloyd Gas Unit Well No. 8H will be drilled 5.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 12,000 feet by Anadarko E&P in the Anderson, W Survey, A-4.

  • Robertson County

  • The John Blair Well No. 14 will be drilled by Coronado Energy is 11.9 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It is in the Owens, W Survey, A-297 and will hit 13,500 feet. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field or the Bald Prairie (Pettit) Field.

  • In a lease 7.1 miles southwest of Hearne in the Giddings (Austin Chalk-3) Field, the Merka-Ferrara Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled to 6,900 feet by Williams, Clayton Energy in the Nixon, GA Survey, A-31.

  • Shelby County

  • The Ellis Well No. 2 will be drilled 2.9 miles southeast of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field. Hunt Petroleum will drill the well to 8,900 feet in the Robertson, EA Survey, A-625.

  • Encore Operating is preparing to drill the Grant Well No. 3 in the Stockman (Travis Peak) Field to a depth of 8,800 feet. Location is 9.6 miles southwest of Center in the Hopkins, D Survey, A-302 and may be drilled in the Stockman (Pettit-Lower) Field.

  • In a lease 1.8 miles southeast of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field, the Horowitz Well No. 2 will be drilled by Classic Operating to 10,000 feet in the Bristow, T Survey, A-48.

  • The Garrison Lumber Co. Well No. 1 will be drilled 11.6 miles northwest of Center in a wildcat field. Devon Energy will drill the well to 15,000 feet in the Thornburg, A C Survey, A-719.

  • Smith County

    In a lease 12 miles east of Tyler, in the Chapel Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Butler, LA Well No. 4 will be drilled by Thomas Operating. The well will hit 8,700 feet in the Phillip Lively Survey, A-566 and may also be drilled in the Chapel Hill (Rodessa) Field.


    COMPLETIONS
    Freestone County

    XTO Energy has completed the Larson "A" II Gas Unit Well No. 7 to a depth of 13,200 feet in the Freestone Field. Location is 5.8 miles southeast of Teague. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 133,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

    Harrison County

  • The Downer Well No. 2 has been completed 2.9 miles south of Leigh in the Waskom Field by M.E. Operating & Services. The well hit 9,900 feet. This well was gauged on an 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.303 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On a 16/64-inch choke, the Wood Well No. 02 potentialed 397,000 cubic feet of gas per day. NFR Energy completed the well 9.8 miles northeast of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field. Total depth is 7,000 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • BP America completed the Slaughter Gas Unit "B" Well No. 2 in the Woodlawn Field. This well hit 10,000 feet and potentialed 112,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Pettit-Page formation.

  • The Oak Hill Field has seen the Swepco Gas Unit Well No. 12 and the Loftis Gas Unit Well No. 3 completed by SanRidge Exploration and Production. The No. 12 well has been completed 4.3 miles southeast of Hallsville with a depth of 10,738 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.226 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 3 well has been completed 4.9 miles southwest of Hallsville with a depth of 10,610 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 901,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On a 20/64-inch choke, the Stone, Pearl Well No. 3 potentialed 500,000 cubic feet of gas per day. It was completed to a depth of 9,880 feet in the Waskom Field by Comstock Oil & Gas is 3.8 miles northeast of Elysian Fields. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Loftis Gas Unit Well No. 10 has been completed in the Oak Hill Field by EnerVest Operating. This well hit 10,740 feet and is 4.2 miles southwest of Hallsville. This well was gauged on a 36/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.700 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Neumin Production has completed the Smitherman No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Willow Springs Field. Location is .5 miles northeast of Longview with a depth of 11,000 feet. Gauged on a 22/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.496 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • There have been ten wells completed in the Carthage, North Field by GMX Resources. The Underwood Well No. 10 is 7.1 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,138 feet and potentialed 285,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an open choke. The Blocker Ware Well No. 5 is nine miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,157 feet and potentialed 503,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Bell Well No. 7 is 6.8 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,100 feet and potentialed 613,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Ella Nolte Well No. 8D is 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,040 feet and potentialed 342,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an open choke. The H.H. Gill Well No. 12D is 9.8 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,221 feet and potentialed 322,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Ella Nolte Well No. 4 is 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 9,975 feet and potentialed 470,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Heisman Well No. 5 is eight miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,160 feet and potentialed 615,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day an open choke. The Bosh Well No. 10D is nine miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,257 feet and potentialed 427,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Callison Well No. 2R is 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,078 feet and potentialed 2.545 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. The Ella Nolte Well No. 11D is 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 9,962 feet and potentialed 2.470 million cubic feet of gas per day on an open choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • GMX Resources has completed four additional wells in the Carthage, North Field. The Bradley Well No. 5 is ten miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,007 feet. This well was gauged on an open choke and potentialed 357,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Ella Nolte Well No. 3 is 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 9,975 feet. Gauged on an open choke it potentialed 753,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Callison Well No. 1 is 10.7 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,126 feet. It potentialed 333,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an open choke. The Jo Ann Scott Well No. 5 is nine miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,142 feet. Gauged on an open choke it potentialed 713,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Limestone County

    XTO Energy completed four new wells. The B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 13 is 3.4 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. Total depth is 13,000 feet. The well potentialed 1.099 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The Richard H. Gross et al Well No. 16 is 12 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. Total depth is 13,345 feet. The well potentialed 500,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 13 is 13.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck. Total depth is 12,750 feet. This well potentialed 2.721 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11 is 17.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck. Total depth is 13,300 feet. This well potentialed 225,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke.

    Nacogdoches County

  • In a lease 12.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches, in the Douglass, West Field, the Faith GU 1 Well No. 2 has been completed by Samson Lone Star. This well hit 10,795 feet and potentialed 1.455 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The Trawick GU 14 Well No. 6 is located 3.1 miles northeast of Trawick in the Trawick Field. Exxon Mobil completed the well to a depth of 8,909 feet. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 4.311 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Neumin Production completed the Lacy Hunt Well No. 3 to a depth of 10,200 feet in the Trawick, North Field. This well is 14.2 miles northwest of Nacogdoches and potentialed 1.450 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • In a lease 13.8 miles northeast of Lufkin, in the Gates Field, the J.W. Sutton Well No. 1 has been completed by Goodrich Petroleum. It well was drilled to a depth of 11,8002 feet. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 230,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The WD Curbow Well No. 14 is 2.4 miles northwest of Mayo in the Naconiche Creek Field. This well was completed by Chesapeake Operating to 9,215 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.614 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • The Trawick GU 7 Well No. 11 potentialed 4.511 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 5.1 miles east of Cushing with a depth of 8,900 feet in the Trawick Field drilled by Exxon Mobil. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Panola County

  • The Shivers Well No. 1 has been completed a quarter mile west of Beckville in the Beckville Field. Kabco Oil & Gas completed the well to a depth of 10,100 feet. This well was gauged on a 20/64-inch choke and flowed with nine barrels of crude per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • On an adjustable choke, the CGU 3 Well No. 20 potentialed 1.308 million cubic feet of gas per day and the CGU 31 Well No. 12 potentialed 1.387 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 20 well is 1.6 miles northwest of Carthage to a total depth of 9,860 feet. The No. 12 well is 7.7 miles southwest of Carthage to a total depth of 9,995 feet. Both wells were completed by Anadarko E&P in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Devon Energy has completed the Dunlap Unit Well No. 10, the Graves, Doris Well No. 3H and the Thomas, Charles Well No. 14 in the Carthage Field. The No. 10 well is 5.7 miles southeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,886 feet. This well potentialed 531,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 3 H well is 9.2 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,353 feet. It potentialed 1.421 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 14 well is 6.6 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,670 feet. This well potentialed 3.529 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 7.4 miles northeast of Beckville, in the Carthage Field, the Cameron Unit 1 Well No. 14 has been completed by Lacy Operations. This well hit at 9,725 feet and potentialed 985,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Barryer Well No. 3 is 2.8 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage Field. This well bottoms at 10,225 feet drilled by Comstock Oil & Gas. It potentialed 1.067 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Buffco Production has completed the Griffith Well No. 1 in the Carthage, South Field. This well is 5.2 miles southeast of Clayton with a depth of 9,380 feet. This well potentialed 81,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day, choke size not recorded.

  • The Carthage Field has seen Anadarko E&P complete the Fred Kyle "A" Unit Well No. 18 to a depth of 9,677 feet. This well potentialed 779,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day an adjustable choke. Location is 5.5 miles southeast of Carthage. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

  • Coronado Energy E&P has completed the Blair, John Well No. 32 and the Blair, John Well No. 3 in the Bald Prairie Field. The No. 32 is 12.9 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 13,320 feet. This well potentialed 1.641 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. The No. 3 is 5.4 miles south of Willow Creek. No depth recorded. This well potentialed 2.081 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  • On a 48/64-inch choke, the Pauline Johnson Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 100,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well was completed 6.1 miles north of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field by EnCana Oil & Gas. This well bottoms at a depth of 14,851 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Emil Well No. 1 is 5.4 miles northeast of Marquez Gaud in the Bear Grass Field. Red Willow Production completed the well to a depth of 15,450 feet. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.044 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Burlington Resources O&G completed the Knight Gas Unit Well No. 4, the BR Whatley Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the Knight Gas Unit Well No. 5 in the Savell Field. The No. 4 well was drilled to a depth of 14,800 feet 5.8 miles southeast of Franklin. On a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.701 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 1 well was drilled to a depth of 15,785 feet 5.4 miles southeast of Franklin. On a 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 578,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 5 well was drilled to a depth of 14,500 feet 5.1 miles east of Franklin. On a 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.250 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.

  • Rusk County

  • In a lease 2.1 miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field, Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. will drill the Goodwin Well No. 1. This well bottoms at 10,930 feet and potentialed 1.877 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Kangerga Gas Unit Well No. 3 is 10.9 miles southeast of Henderson in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. This well bottoms at 10,912 feet drilled by Fidelity Exploration & Production. This well potentialed 1.496 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Goodrich Petroleum has completed the Youngblood, Robert Well No. 2 in the Minden Field and the Rayford, Bess Well No. 4 in the Henderson, East Field. The No. 2 well bottoms at 11,022 feet 5.09 miles south southeast of Henderson. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 308,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation. The No. 4 well bottoms at 10,830 feet 3.56 miles southeast of Henderson. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 495,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Oak Hill Field has seen the Minor, A. Gas Unit Well No. 12 completed by Energen Resources to a depth of 10,650 feet. This well is four miles northwest of Tatum. On a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.676 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Location is 2.8 miles northeast of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. EnerVest completed the well to a depth of 10,920 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Enduring Resources completed the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. This well is 1.1 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,850 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.159 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • San Augustine County

  • The Timberstar-Davis Well No. 1H has been completed 14.5 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Martinsville, Southeast Field. Southwestern Energy completed the well to a depth of 7,352 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.821 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the James formation.

  • On a 1-inch choke, the Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 2 potentialed 14.691 million cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 11.8 miles southwest of Center in the Angie Field. Cabot Oil & Gas completed the well to a depth of 7,165 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • The Angie Field has seen the Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 2 completed 11.8 miles southwest of Center by Cabot Oil & Gas. This well was drilled to bottom at 7,165 feet. On a 1-inch choke, the well potentialed 14.961 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • Shelby County

    Classic Operating completed the DR Taylor Heirs Well No. 9 in the Joaquin Field to a depth of 8,791 feet. This well is one mile southwest of Joaquin. On a 1-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.224 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Smith County

    The Sanger Investment Well No. 1 is 1.9 miles west of Overton in the Overton Field. This well was completed to a depth of 12,455 feet by Goodrich Petroleum. This well potentialed 65,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Tyler County

  • On an adjustable choke, the Ira Taylor A-637 Well No. 2 potentialed 5.006 million cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 2.3 miles northwest of Doucette in the Brookeland Field. Etoco completed the well to a depth of 17,230 feet. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800 formation.

  • The Tucker Well No. 1 is 11.7 miles northeast of Woodville in the Brookeland Field. This well was completed by Ergon Energy Partners to a depth of 13,674 feet. This well was gauged on a 30/64-inch choke and potentialed 14.824 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800 formation.

  • Upshur County

    The Tommie J. Mason GU Well No. 10 is 10 miles south of Gilmer in the Glenwood Field. This well was completed to a depth of 11,085 feet by Exco Partners Operating Partnership. The well potentialed 410,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
