April 26: Barbara Bass Proves Leadership
I strongly support Barbara Bass. She would make a great mayor for the city of Tyler and she has proven leadership and integrity in many areas.
I must tell you that often politics stink and it has even been evidenced in this race already. Several days ago the Tyler Paper ran a front page story about the mayor candidates going to a local assisted living center and in bold letters stated only one candidate showed up. Well, guess why? It was April 15 which is income tax day and Mrs. Bass happens to be an accountant.
Sounds like either poor planning by the assisted living place or a bias by the paper in reporting this negative headline or both.
