Tyler Junior College

Activity camps offered include: Art around the world, creative conditioning, crime scene investigation, French foil fencing, rocket science, discover Scuba, cooking up culture, great outdoor learning, aquatic camps, theater camps, filmmaking, LEGO Robotics, new adventures, pencil and charcoal drawing, youth ballroom and Latin dance and Tae-Kwon-Do.
Apache athletic camps include: Baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Brook Hill School

Art — For boys and girls entering first through 12th grades. Price is $110 for four days and includes snacks and supplies. Programming includes basic art elements, art history and art media skills.
Scrapbooking — For boys and girls entering first through fifth grades. Price is $100 for five days and includes scapbooking kit.
Storytelling — For boys and girls entering second through fifth grades. Cost is $80 for five days. Programming includes multiple methods of storytelling.
Basketball — For boys and girls entering first through 12th grades. Cost ranges from $60 to $80 for four days and includes a T-shirt.
Football — For boys entering grades seven through 12. Cost is $140 for three days and includes lunch, drink and T-shirt.
Soccer — For boys and girls entering first through 10th grades. Cost is $60 to $80 for four days and includes a T-shirt.
Softball — For girls ages 6 to 18. Cost is $90 for four days and includes a T-shirt.
Baseball — For boys and girls ages 5 to 15. Cost is $70 for four days and includes a T-shirt.

Camp Centerstage — Camp dates are June 9-21 for students entering fifth through 10th grades. Cost is $225 for a two-week session. Scholarships are available. Activities are designed for different age groups and teach theater skills and creativity. There is also emphasis on self-esteem and developing artistic potential.

Athletic camps include: baseball, softball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, and boys’ and girls’ soccer. Athletic camps also offer Camp Sport Time for children who love multiple sports and want constant action.

Summer Bridge is an academic and artistic enrichment summer school offered by Bishop T.K. Gorman Catholic School.
Courses will be offered in academic and artistic endeavors which will help students prepare for the upcoming school year. Classes include a study of World War II, which includes an overnight stay on the Battleship Texas; outdoor survival training which includes a camping trip; book clubs; life skills, art classes in sculpting; Spanish; sign language; women’s and children’s self defense and safety; sports history which includes a trip to a Ranger’s game; and sports camps in basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. Classes and clubs will run from one to three weeks and will be offered on weekdays from June until August.

Texas Asthma Camp for Kids

Texas Asthma Camp for Kids will hold one, weeklong session June 15-20, and will focus on children whose asthma is severe enough to prevent them from attending regular summer camp.
The camp will host about 75 children, ages 7 to 14, at Camp Tyler on Lake Tyler. The camp is conducted by the University of Texas Health Science Center, supported by the Texas Chest Foundation.
Campers are monitored closely at all times by UT Health Center medical support 24 hours a day.
Registration is $15, and the cost per camper is $150. Financial assistance is available.
