East Texans Graduate From Basic Training
CAMERON
Air Force Airmen Travis N. Cameron, John A. Foreman, David J. Emert and Matthew D. Theroit graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
FOREMAN
The airmen earned credits toward a degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Cameron is the son of Casey Cameron, of Seacliff, and grandson of Neil and Betty Davis, of Tyler.
Foreman is the son of John and Deborah Foreman, of Flint.
Emert is the grandson of Alice Jackson, of Holly Lake Ranch, and son of Joanna Emert, Beaumont, Calif. He is a graduate of Beaumont High School.
Theriot is the son of David Theriot and Debbie Woldert, both of Tyler. He is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.
Army Pvt. Jasmine S. Allen, Army Sgt. Bret Westbrook and Army Pvt. Ocie B. Barrett have graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
EMERT
Allen is a 2007 graduate of Whitehouse High School.
THEROIT
Westbrook, son of Morris Westbrook, of Athens, and Mary Westbrook, of LaRue, also earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is a graduate of Athens High School and Texas Christian University.
Barrett is the son of Sonny Miller, of Tyler, and Alverna Barrett, of Mesquite. He is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School.
