Southside Bancshares To Hold Meeting
Southside Bancshares Inc., parent company of Southside Bank, will have its annual shareholders meeting 4 p.m. today at Willow Brook Country Club.
Shareholders will elect directors to three positions on the Southside board. Nominees are Sam Dawson, bank president; and directors Melvin B. Lovelady and William Sheehy. All are incumbents.
Dawson said ballots were sent to shareholders for their votes about a month ago.
After adjournment, those attending the meeting are invited to stay for snacks and refreshments, Dawson said.
