Drillers Plan Wells In Troup, Whitehouse Areas
DEVELOPMENTAL

Smith County

  • In a lease 1.6 miles northwest of Troup in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field, the Sallie M. Warren Hrs. Gas Unit 1 Well No. 14 will be drilled by Southwestern Energy to 12,300 feet in the Miller, W Survey, A-638 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The Jasper Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by Llog Exploration Texas in a wildcat field. The well will hit 14,000 feet and is 2.6 miles southeast of Whitehouse in the Wagner, J Survey, A-1057.

  • Angelina County

  • The Crossman, P.G. Et Al Well No. 7 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. The well, 2.99 miles southeast of Wells, will hit 15,568 feet in the Hendenstrom, A Survey, A-333

  • In a lease 2.4 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field, the Mabel Sessions GU Well No. 2 will be drilled to 13,000 by Goodrich Petroleum in the De La Garza, J Survey, A-15.

  • Freestone County

  • The Boyce Fuller Well No. 1D and the Gann, J.C. Well No. 1 D will be drilled by Freestone Disposal. The Boyce Fuller Well No. 1D is 6.1 miles east of Fairfield in the Dowdy, H Survey, A-191 and will hit 5,500 feet in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The Gann, J.C. Well No. 1 D is one mile northeast of Teague in the Maul, C Survey, A-442 and will hit 5,000 feet in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

  • XTO Energy will drill the George Fulton Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7 and Well No. 19 in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. These wells will hit 15,000 feet in the Peterson, J Survey, A-520. The No. 7 is 0.8 miles southwest of Donie and the No. 19 is 0.7 miles northwest of Donie. These wells may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field.

  • The Burleson Hill, East (Bossier) Field will see the Collins "A" Well No. 1 drilled by Valence Operating to 17,000 feet. This well is 2.6 miles southeast of Lanely in the Sanchez, J Survey, A-555. It may also be drilled in the Burleson Hill (Pettit) Field.

  • In a lease two miles northeast of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Capps No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled by XTO Energy. This well will hit 13,250 feet in the Jones, WMC Survey, A-14.

  • Gregg County

  • The Harris, T.B. Well No. 14 will be drilled within city limits of White Oak in the White Oak (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. TXOK Texas Energy Resources will drill the well to 11,300 feet in the Castleberry, WH Survey, A-38.

  • NEG Operating will drill the Cherokee Water Company Unit Well No. 12 in a wildcat field. It will hit 12,000 feet in the Lee, I Survey, A-237, 6.6 miles southeast of Lakeport. It may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see four additional wells drilled to 12,500 feet by XTO Energy. The Brelsford Gas Unit Well No. 3 and No. 4 will be drilled 5.7 miles southeast of Longview. The Brelsford Gas Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled six miles southeast of Longview. The Brelsford Well No. 7 will be drilled 6.4 miles southeast of Longview. All four wells will lie in the Castro, F Survey, A-236.

  • Harrison County

  • The LeTourneau Gas Unit 6 Well No. 18 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 18 miles southwest of Marshall in the Pearson, TK Survey, A-586.

  • In a lease 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Cadenhead Well No. 15 will be drilled by GMX Resources to 11,800 feet in the Hall, F Survey, A-311.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Chopper GU 1 Well No. 2 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 13,000 feet in the Dougherty, P Survey, A-5 and is seven miles northwest of Waskom. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • There will be four new wells drilled by GMX Resources in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field to 11,800 feet. The Callison Well No. 5D, Callison Well No. 8D, the Baldwin Well No. 9 and Baldwin Well No. 10 will be drilled 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Smith, W Survey, A-21. The No. 9 and the No. 10 wells may also be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Pilot No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 6 will be drilled to 10,200 feet in a wildcat field by NFR Energy. This well is 7.5 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Craine, JB Survey, A-144. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field or the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Limestone County

    XTO Energy will drill the Kellogg Creek Gas Unit Well No. 3, the Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 3 and the S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 17. The Kellogg Creek Gas Unit Well No. 3 is 3.1 miles southeast of Oletha in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. This well is in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26 and may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field. The Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 3 is 17.5 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. This well is in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26 and may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field. The S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 17 is 14 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well may also be drilled in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4.

    Nacogdoches County

  • The Trawick Gas Unit 1 Well No. 13 will be drilled 3.9 miles southeast of Cushing in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field by Exxon Mobil. It will hit 9,200 feet in the Bennett, Z Survey, A-9. It may also be drilled in the Trawick (James) Field, a wildcat field or the Trawick (Pettit) Field.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Lola D GU 1 Well No. 2 in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the De Los Santos Coy, M&Bros. Survey, A-21. Location is 12 miles northwest of Nacogdoches. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.

  • In a lease 10.8 miles southeast of Nacogdoches, in the Gates (Travis Peak) Field, the Bethune B Well No. 2 will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum to 13,000 feet in the Sparks, JH Survey, A-517.

  • The Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field will see the Sitton GU 1 Well No. 2 drilled to 12,000 feet by Samson Lone Star. This well is 8.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M&Bros. Survey, A-21. It may also be drilled in the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, a wildcat field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.

  • Navarro County

  • Four new wells will be drilled in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field by Texas M.O.R. The Central Lease Well No. N209 and the Central Lease Well No. N210 will be drilled four miles southeast of Corsicana. The King "B" Lease Well No. I207 will be drilled four miles east of Corsicana and the King "B" Lease Well No. I208 will be drilled four miles northeast of Corsicana. Total depth will be 1,000 feet in the Cairns, W J Survey, A-158.

  • Texas M.O.R. will prepare to drill 11 additional wells. The Chapman Lease Well No. 1 is six miles east of Corsicana and will hit 1,850 feet. The Chapman Lease Well No. 3 is seven miles east of Corsicana and will hit 6,500 feet. Both wells are in the HG Anderson Survey, A-17 in a wildcat field. The Central Lease Well No. I205, Well No. I206, Well No. N201, Well No. N202, Well No. N203, the King "B" Lease Well No. N204, the Central Lease Well No. N211, Well No. N212 and Well No. N213 will hit at 1,000 feet in the Cairns, WJ Survey, A-158 in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field. The No. I205 well and the No. N201 wells are four miles southeast of Corsicana. The No. I206 well, the No. N202 well, the No. N203 well, the No. N211 well and the No. N212 well are four miles east of Corsicana. The No. N204 well is four miles northeast of Corsicana. The No. N213 well is five miles northeast of Corsicana.

  • Panola County

  • The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the West Phillips Gas Unit Well No. 1A drilled by Enduring Resources to 11,300 feet in the McAdams, J Survey, A-422. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Five new wells will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will hit 11,500 feet in the Robinson, JP Survey, A-571. The Billy Sealey GU Well No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 are 11.3 miles southwest of Tatum. The Billy Sealey GU Well No. 10 is 11.5 miles southwest of Tatum and No. 11 is 11.6 miles southwest of Tatum.

  • Devon Energy will drill the Mason Well No. 21 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 5.1 miles southwest of Carthage in the Hanks, I Survey, A-271 and will hit 12,000 feet.

  • In a lease 13.7 miles east of Henderson in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Sealey, G.T. Well No. 4 will be drilled to 11,000 feet by Goodrich Petroleum in the Barbee, C Survey, A-71.

  • Robertson County

  • XTO Energy will drill the Felder Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 15,325 feet and is15.7 miles northeast of Franklin in the De La Concepcion Marquez, M Survey, A-25.

  • The Devon Fee 2 Gas Unit Well No. 1 and Devon Fee 4 Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field by O'Benco. The wells will hit 12,800 feet. The Devon Fee 2 Gas Unit Well No. 1 is 9.3 miles northwest of Franklin in the Love, JM Survey, A-210. The Devon Fee 4 Gas Unit Well No. 1 is 10.1 miles northwest of Franklin in the Smith, WJ Survey, A-336. These wells may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) will drill four new wells. The S. McLean G Well No. 1 will be drilled 8.9 miles east of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. This well is in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46 and will hit 19,000 feet. The Reeves Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled 0.7 miles southwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the Slauter, F Survey, A-335 and will hit 13,200 feet. The Glynda McBeth Unit Well No. 11 will be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to 14,000 feet in the McGee, WH Survey, A-220. The Jarrell Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled 7.3 miles southwest of Pinehill in the Minden (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the Orrick, W Survey, A-614 and will hit 12,090 feet and may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • Rusk County

  • The Cobra No. 2 Well No. 2 will be drilled 6.8 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. El Paso E&P will hit 11,200 feet in the Howell, RL Survey, A-410. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Cash Harrison Well No. 1 in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field. This well will hit 9,500 feet in the Huejas, MF Survey, A-14, and is 5.5 miles southwest of Mount Enterprise. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 3.3 miles northwest of Henderson in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Finis Rogers Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P to 12,000 feet in the De La Vina, J C Survey, A-41.

  • The Marks-Poovey Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Fahle Well No. 18 will be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field by Fidelity Exploration & Production. Both wells will hit 12,000 feet. The No. 10 well is 3.1 miles northeast of Minden in the Lyons, D Survey, A-506. The No. 18 well is 3.8 miles northwest of Minden in the Orrick, W Survey, A-613.

  • In a lease six miles southwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field, the Galan White Gas Unit Well No. 9H will be drilled by Forest Oil Corp to a depth of 11,500 feet in the Pena, M V Survey, A-27.

  • Fidelity Exploration & Production will drill the Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4, the Marks-Poovey Gas Unit Well No. 5, the Harrell Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 11 and the Harrell Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 12 in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. These wells will hit 12,000 feet. The No. 4 well is 2.1 miles northeast of Minden in the Jeffers, S Survey, A-459. The No. 5 well is 2.9 miles northeast of Minden in the Ferguson, J Survey, A-301. The No. 11 is 1.8 miles northeast of Minden in the Miller, A Survey, A-574. The No. 12 is 2.1 miles northeast of Minden in the Moore, J Survey, A-522.

  • San Augustine County

  • The Timberstar-HTBRRCO 154 Well No. 2 is 12.9 miles southwest of Center in a wildcat field. Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the well to 9,500 feet in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-154. This well may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.

  • Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Timberstar-HTBRRCO 154 Well No. 3, the Timberstar-HTBRRCO 154 Well No. 4 and the Timberstar-Rusk CSL 593 Well No. 2 in a wildcat field. The wells will hit 9,500 feet. The No. 3 is 12.8 miles southwest of Center in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-154. The No. 4 is 12.6 miles southwest of Center in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-154. The No. 2 is 1.5 miles southeast of Aiken in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-593. These wells may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.

  • Shelby County

    The Borders, Gene Well No. 1H will be drilled 8.3 miles southeast of Center in the Angie (James Lime) Field. This well will hit 9,000 feet in the Hatton, JR Survey, A-961 by Enexco, Inc. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Upshur County

    The Thorne Well No. 3 will be drilled by Stroud Petroleum. Location is 7.8 miles northeast of Gilmer in a wildcat field. It will hit 10,500 feet in the Powell, S Survey, A-388 and may also be drilled in the Stamps (Cotton Valley) Field or the Stamps (Travis Peak) Field.

    COMPLETIONS

    Cherokee County

  • The Dickerson Well No. 1 was completed by Cordillera Texas in the Walkers Chapel Field. Location is 11.5 miles east of Rusk to 8,651 feet. It flowed with 60 barrels of crude per day, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Pettit 8100 formation.

  • On a 48/64-inch choke, the Chronister Heirs Well No. 9 potentialed 2.276 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 4.8 miles north of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field. The well was drilled to 12,300 feet by XTO Energy. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • Freestone County

  • The Worthy Well No. 5 has been completed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. Location is two miles south of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. Total depth is 14,600 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 11.560 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • On an adjustable choke, the T.W. Lane Well No. 6 potentialed 2.582 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is one mile north of Kirvin in the Mann, North Field. Lacy Operation completed the well to 9,805 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

  • XTO Energy completed the Melvin Waldrip Gas Unit II Well No. 5 and the Fulton "A" Well No. 12 in the Bear Grass Field. The No. 5 well is two miles southwest of Donie and hit 14,370 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 906,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 12 well is 1.4 miles east of Donie and hit 14,328 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.235 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Two new wells were completed by Hunt Petroleum. The McMichael B Well No. 3 is 1.9 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague Field and hit 12,400 feet. It potentialed 3.642 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The HL&P Gas Unit Well No. 21 is two miles south of Donie in the Farrar Field. It hit 14,300 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 4.25 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • The Fails Gas Unit Well No. 19 is 7.2 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field. It was completed to 13,010 feet by XTO Energy. On an 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.765 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • Gregg County

  • The Oak Hill Field has seen the Ledco Well No. 1 completed by NFR Energy to 11,078 feet, 3.1 miles southeast of Longview. It potentialed 584,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Geo-Vest of Texas, Inc. completed the Griffin Ranch G.U. 6 Well No. 8 in the Danville Field. It hit 10,783 feet and is 4.1 miles east of Kilgore. On a 29/64-inch choke it potentialed 3.137 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Harrison County

  • The Karnack Well No. 2 was completed to 9,811 feet in the Carthage, North Field by Chalker Energy Management II. No location was recorded. On a 26/64-inch choke it potentialed 266,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

  • The Carthage, North Field has seen the Bradley Well No. 11 D completed by GMX Resources. It is 9.7 miles southeast of Marshall with a total depth of 10,121 feet. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 147,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Ensight III Energy Management completed the Batchelor Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 in the Woodlawn, Southwest Field. It hit 10,833 feet and potentialed 587,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 8.78 miles south of Marshall, in the Darco, Southeast Field, the Jenkins "A" Well No. 12 was completed by O'Benco, Inc. It hit 10,300 feet and potentialed 1.319 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • NFR Energy completed the Cole Well No. 1 and the D'AstoGas Unit 1 Well No. 2. The No. 1 is 3.24 miles southeast of Longview and hit 11,000 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 535,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 2 is 7.3 miles of Marshall and hit 10,070 feet. It potentialed 744,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On an adjustable choke, the Frank Davis Estate Deep Gas Unit Well No. 5 potentialed 391,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is 2.6 miles southwest of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn Field. Depth is 10,085 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Henderson County

    The Mitchell, J. Well No. 1 was completed four miles north of Athens in the Thomas Lake Field. Southwest Operating, Inc.-Tyler completed the well to 8,550 feet. It flowed with 32 barrels of crude per day on a 2-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa B formation.

    Leon County

  • On a 14/64-inch choke, the Lionheart Well No. 1 potentialed 1.619 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is 4.2 miles of Wealthy in the Hilltop Resort Field and hit 20,200 feet. This well was completed by Chesapeake Operating. Production is in the Bossier formation.

  • In a lease 2.7 miles northeast of Jewett in the Jewett Field, the Clute-Diehl GU 1 Well No. 7 has been completed by EnSight III Energy Management. This well hit 11.152 feet. On a 15/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.589 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Prime Operating has completed the M.B. Rudman-McLeroy Well No. 1 in the Buffalo, South Field to 6,300 feet. This well is 5.8 miles northeast of Garrison. On a 10/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 220,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the B formation.

  • Marion County

    The Chatten Gas Unit Well No. 1 is 6.6 miles north of Jefferson in a wildcat field. XTO Energy completed it to 11,140 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 395,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day.

    Nacogdoches County

    Five new wells have been completed by Samson Lone Star. The Toby Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 is nine miles south of Nacogdoches in the Red Land, North Field. It hit 11,500 feet and potentialed 995,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation. The Rector, L.E. GU 1 Well No. 10 is 11 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Miyagi Field. It hit 10,293 feet and potentialed 2.265 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit formation. The James Lewis GU 1 Well No. 2 is 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Miyagi Field. It hit 10,318 feet and potentialed 3.243 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 23/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit formation. The James Lewis GU 1 Well No. 1 is 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Miyagi Field. It hit 10,383 feet and potentialed 3.146 million cubic feet of gas per day a 20.5/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit formation. The Black Stone Well No. 6 is nine miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West Field. It hit 10,590 feet and potentialed 3.005 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 23.5/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Panola County

  • On a 14/64-inch choke, the Werner-Clarence Well No. 8 potentialed 964,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is 10.2 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Chevron U.S.A. completed the well to 7,100 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Hunt Petroleum completed the Holcombe, Lecta Well No. 6 in the Bethany Field. This well is 10.7 miles north of Carthage and hit 10,040 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 49,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Jones, A Gas Unit Well No. 2 is 9.4 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. It hit 10,280 feet and was drilled by Goodrich Petroleum. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 839,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 10.5 miles south of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, the East Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed by Madera Production. It bottoms at 6,308 feet and potentialed 82,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Hill South formation.

  • The Bethany Field has seen the Adams, T.C. NCT 1 Well No. 65 completed by Chevron U.S.A. It is five miles southeast of DeBerry and hit 5,987 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 591,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Transition formation.

  • Robertson County

  • On a 15/64-inch choke, the Mitchell Gas Unit III Well No. 19 potentialed 1.564 million cubic feet of gas per day. It is 10 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 13,320 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Redden Unit Well No. 3 is 8.3 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso Field. It hit 16,000 feet, drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. On a 46/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 32.418 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Bossier formation.

  • Rusk County

  • The E.M. Pone Well No. 3 is 4.9 miles southwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. This well was completed to 10,970 feet by Goodrich Petroleum. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 550,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On a 24/64-inch choke, the Vinson Gas Unit Well No. 13 potentialed 1.406 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is eight miles west from Tatum in the Oak Hill Field. Samson Lone Star has completed the well to 10,603 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Shelby County

    The Pickering Lumber Co. Well No. B-16 was completed by Hunt Petroleum in the Joaquin Field. Location is 1.9 miles east of Joaquin and hit 8,807 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.915 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
