Beautiful blooms and sweet smells will be in Tyler through the summer, but this is the last weekend for patrons to participate in 2008 Azalea Trail festivities.

Saturday and Sunday are chock-full of activities celebrating nature, beauty and community- from square dances to home tours, there is something for everyone.

Beginning with some entertainment, the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles will kick off the weekend with their annual spring show 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Wise Auditorium on the TJC main campus.

The theme for this year's show is "Night at the Museum."

The Ramblin' Roses will be twisting and twirling around the dance floor during their 36th Anniversary Square Dance.

The event will begin with round dancing 7 p.m. Saturday, plus dancing at 7:30 p.m. and mainstream dancing at 8 p.m.

The dance will be hosted at Fairwood United Methodist Church, 1712 Old Omen Road in Tyler.

Also, a tin can auction will be held, offering numerous items including original art, as a fundraiser for the square dance club.

For car enthusiasts, the Goodman Museum has just the thing.

The Azalea Trail Auto Show will feature classic cars sure to impress East Texans.

Patrons can view the engines 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Goodman Museum, 624 N. Broadway Avenue in Tyler.

In the spirit of all things moving, The Cotton Belt Depot Museum and the Clyde Bragg model train display will be open for viewing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cotton Belt Depot, 210 E. Oakwood, Tyler.

The Cascades Home Tour and Art Exhibit will continue through Sunday.

Several new homes and condominiums will be featured on the tour along with an art exhibit presented by Tyler Museum of Art.
