Women's League Plans Forum On Empowerment
The League of Women Voters-Tyler/Smith County will host a forum focusing on empowering women at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24 at the Tyler Public Library.
The League of Women Voters-Tyler/Smith County will host a forum focusing on empowering women at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24 at the Tyler Public Library.
Speakers will address education, economics, health and civic life, according to the League. Speakers will include the League's Dee Brock and Bonnie Hardaway, Jackie Little-ton of the American Association of University Women national board of directors, Kelly Hart of Planned Parenthood, and Dr. Marietta Crowder, former regio-nal director of the Texas Depa-rtment of State Health Services.
