Tyler Woman 2-for-2 In Photo Contest Wins

For the second time in two months, Jessica Cross of Tyler is the winner of the You Spotted photo contest on TylerPaper.com.
In January, she was first among more than 220 entrants in the Cutest Pet photo contest, and in February, her photo was judged by TylerPaper.com readers as the best among 25 photos entered.
“My boyfriend, Jason, and I have been sweethearts for about five years now,” Ms. Cross wrote in an e-mail. “We live together in Tyler, where our family consists of us and our three dogs. We met about 5 1/2 years ago through mutual friends, and have been inseparable ever since.

“This picture was taken last summer while we were out on Lake Tyler in his jet boat, cruising around enjoying the sun,” she wrote. “We love each other with all of our hearts, and plan to spend every day for the rest of our lives together.”
Ms. Cross’ photo received an average rating of 7.59 on a scale of 10 from 3,298 readers who cast votes. Finishing second was Jennifer Wood of Tyler. Her photo of herself and sweetheart Preston Fritz received an average rating of 6.64 from 982 voters.
“We both live in Tyler, and have been dating for three years,” she wrote in an e-mail. “The photos were taken for our two-year anniversary. (We) just took our three-year (photos, and) they came out great. Wish I would have had time to enter them.”
Third place went to Summer Briann Morgan of Lindale, whose photo received an average rating of 5.91 from 654 readers who cast a vote.
Ms. Morgan wrote that her sweetheart is Robert Micheal Richbourg of Gun Barrel City.

“He loves hunting and fishing, also is a police officer and serves in the Army National Guard,” she wrote. “I am a family girl — anything to do with them I love. I love taking pictures, and thought I would capture a kiss with the best man I have ever met. We have been dating for three months – woohoo, couldn’t ask for a better man.”
Note: Some photos that may have qualified were disqualified because they had more votes than page views, a violation of the contest rules.
This month’s photo contest on You Spotted is Kids With Easter Baskets.
