Multiple Developmental Wells Hit Books In Rusk County
DEVELOPMENTAL

Rusk County

  • The W.H. Siler Well No. 1 will be drilled by Davis Oil & Gas in a wildcat field. The well will hit 12,200 feet in the Walker, M Survey, A-826 is 8.7 miles west of Henderson.

  • Forest Oil will drill the Alexander Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 10H and the Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7 in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 10H well is 5.3 miles southwest of Henderson. The No. 7 well is 5.8 miles northwest of Henderson. Depth will be 11,500 feet in the Pena, MV Survey, A-27.

  • The C.E. Guy Well No. 1 and the W.O. Ashby Well No. 1 will be drilled by SDG Operating to 8,800 feet in a wildcat field. The C.E. Guy Well No. 1 will lie in the Roth, J Survey, A-36 10 miles southwest of Henderson. The W.O. Ashby Well No. 1 will lie in the Mc Donald, T Survey, A-21 10 miles southwest of Henderson. These wells may also be drilled in the Scoober Creek (Travis Peak) Field.

  • In a lease 4.6 miles southeast of Henderson, in a wildcat field, the Viper 3 Well No. 5 will be drilled by El Paso E&P to 12,500 feet in the Jackson, TJ Survey, A-15. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • The Barton, Susan Well No. 2 will be drilled by EnerQuest in a wildcat field. It will hit 9,500 feet 1.8 miles north of Garrison in the Hilton, H Survey, A-369. This well may also be drilled in the Garrison (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field will see the OE Flanagan Well No. 2 drilled by Princess Three Operating. The well is 0.05 miles east of Henderson in the Wright, TL Survey, A-820 and will hit 11,000 feet.

  • National Onshore will drill the Powell Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 to 12,000 feet in a wildcat field. The well will be drilled five miles southeast of Henderson in the Jones, JF Survey, A-461. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Enduring Resources will drill two new wells in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The Jarrell Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in a lease 3.1 miles northwest of Minden in the Birdwell, G Survey, A-108. The Hays Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in a lease 2.3 miles northwest of Minden in the Yarbrough, R Survey, A-884. The wells will hit 11,300 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Angelina County

  • The E.M. Ryan Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas. This well is 3.6 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will hit 12,300 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-703.

  • EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) will drill the Crossman, P.G. Et Al Well No. 8 in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. The well is 3.3 miles southeast of Wells in the Hendenstrom, A Survey, A-333. Depth will be 15,568 feet.

  • Cherokee County

  • The Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field will see the Afton Thrash Unit 1 Well No. 14 by Southwestern Energy. This well will hit 12,600 feet in the Pool, W Survey, A-718 and is 2.5 miles northeast of Mixon. This well may also be drilled in the Troup (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.

  • XTO Energy is preparing to drill the Chronister Heirs Well No. 11 in the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field. The well is 7.4 miles northwest of Wells in the Durst, J Survey, A-15 and will hit 12,800 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Doyle Creek (Pettit) Field.

  • Harrison County

  • The Crawford Gas Unit Well No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 will be drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will hit 13,000 feet in the Wray, JS Survey, A-759. All four wells are 13.2 miles southeast of Marshall.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Woodley GU 1 Well No. 1 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field to 13,000 feet. This well is four miles northwest of Elysian Fields in the Smith, W Survey, A-21. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 18.7 miles northwest of Marshall in the Lansing, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Pearce Well No. 2H will be drilled by Tanos Exploration. This well will hit 10,651 feet in the Wyatt, AB Survey, A-796.

  • Forest Oil will drill the Osborne Heirs Well No. 3 in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Gamblin, Hrs J Survey, A-281. Depth will be 11,500 feet.

  • The Blocker Heirs Well No. 11D will be drilled by GMX Resources eight miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 11,800 feet in the Ussury, MS Survey, A-722.

  • There will be three new wells drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The Thompson Well No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 are 3.9 miles northeast of Crossroads in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145. The No. 2 and the No. 4 will hit 13,000 feet. The No. 3 will hit 12,000 feet.

  • GMX Resources will drill the Cadenhead Well No. 14D and the Sanders Moore Well No. 6D in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will hit 11,800 feet. The No. 14D well is 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field. The No. 6D well is 8.7 miles southeast of Marshall in the Ussury, MS Survey, A-722. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Bethany (Page Sand) Field or the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • In a lease 1.6 miles east of Hallsville, in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Hallsville ISD Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by NEG Operating. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the Holbert, J Survey, A-305 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Devon Energy is preparing to drill the Smith-Lindsey Unit Well No. 2 and No. 3 H in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. Both wells will hit 13,000 feet and are 6.2 miles southwest of Waskom in the Brookfield, WC Survey, A-2.

  • Freestone County

  • The T.H. McWatters Well No. 33 will be drilled 3.8 miles northwest of Donie in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well will hit 13,600 feet by XTO Energy in the M&W Survey, A-465.

  • XTO Energy will drill L.F. Roberts Gas Unit Well No. 5H and Well No. 4H in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. These wells will hit 16,000 feet in the Brewer, G Survey .7 miles northwest of Teague.

  • A wildcat field will see the Studdard Steward "M" Well No. 1 drilled by Marathon Oil. This well is 8.8 miles southeast of Fairfield in the Aquilera, JY Survey, A-2 will hit 15,000 feet.

  • Houston County

    The Shirley Well No. 1V will be drilled nine miles northwest of Grapeland in a wildcat field. Carrizo Oil & Gas will drill the well to 1,500 feet in the Barrow, TH/Kirkland, EO Survey, A-1371.

    Leon County

  • A wildcat field will see the Gastar-Lone Oak Ranch Well No. 5H drilled by Gastar Exploration Texas. This well will hit 15,000 feet in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-17. This well may also be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Knowles) Field.

  • In a lease one mile southeast of Jewett, in a wildcat field, the Ike Watson GU No. 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled by Ensight III Energy Management. The well will hit 12,500 feet in the Martin, TB Survey, A-637 and may also be drilled in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Limestone County

    The Robert Sims Gas Unit Well No. 5 and No. 6 will be drilled in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field by XTO Energy. The wells are 10.1 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4.

    Nacogdoches County

  • EnerQuest will drill the Ms. Jackie Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to 9,600 feet. This well is 5.8 miles northeast of Cushing in the Acosta, JJ Survey, A-63. The well may also be drilled in the Trawick, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick, North (Rodessa) Field or the Trawick, North (Pettit) Field.

  • The Cubow, W.D. Well No. 9 will be drilled 2.4 miles northwest of Mayo in the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 14,000 feet in the Yancy, A Survey, A-625 by Chesapeake Operating. This well may also be drilled in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • In a lease seven miles east of Cushing in a wildcat field, the Trawick Gas Unit 51 Well No. 101 will be drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas. This well will hit 14,000 feet in the Sanchez, M Survey, A-51. This well may also be drilled in the Trawick (Cotton Valley) Field, the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick (Jurassic) Field, the Trawick (Pettit) Field or the Trawick (James) Field.

  • The Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field will see the Weaver GU 1 Well No. 10 and the DeVault, C.S. GU 1 Well No. 8 drilled by Samson Lone Star. The No. 10 well is eight miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M&Bros Survey, A-21. The No. 8 well is 9.5 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Ham, H Survey, A-293. Depth of both wells will be 12,000 feet and the wells may also be drilled in the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Panther Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 to 12,500 feet in the Red Land, North (Travis Peak) Field. The well is nine miles southwest of Nacogdoches in the Micheli, V Survey, A-900. This well may also be drilled in the Black Bayou (Travis Peak) Field, the Shawnee Spring (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Trawick Gas Unit 8 Well No. 11 will be drilled by Exxon Mobil to 10,000 feet in the Trawick (Rodessa) Field. The well is 2.5 miles east of Cushing in the Weekes, J Survey, A-58. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick (Pettit) Field or the Trawick (James) Field.

  • Marathon Oil will drill the Tatum Gas Unit Well No. 8H in the Little Ears (Pettit) Field. This well is 2.8 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Starr, JM Survey, A-546. This well will hit 14,000 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Panola County

  • The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Britton GU Well No. 12 drilled by Goodrich Petroleum to 10,000 feet. This well is 6.2 miles west of Clayton in the Taylor, W Survey, A-667.

  • Hunt Petroleum will drill the Thomas Allison Gas Unit Well No. 15A in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 11,400 feet in the Isaac Hall Survey, A-311 4.9 miles northeast of Carthage. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 5.7 miles northwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Williams Wall Gas Unit Well No. 10 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the Humphries, G Survey, A-267.

  • Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Taylor Sealey GU Well No. 1 in a wildcat field 2.1 miles southwest of Fairplay in the Flores, P Survey, A-198. This well will hit 11,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field or the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The EO Rushing Well No. 5 and the Box Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled by Classic Operating. The No. 5 is 1.3 miles north of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field and will hit 10,000 feet in the Smith, M Survey, A-592. This well may also be drilled in the Joaquin (Wiener) Field or the Carthage, South (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 7 is three miles west of Clayton in a wildcat field and will hit 12,000 feet in the Lindsey, C Survey, A-387. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • San Augustine County

    The Timberstar-HTBRR Co. 154 Well No. 1 will be drilled 12.7 miles southwest of Center in a wildcat field. Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the well to 9,200 feet in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-154. This well may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.

    Shelby County

    The Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Oliver Unit Well No. 4 drilled by Devon Energy Production. This well will hit 15,000 feet in the Porter, BJ Survey, A-559 and may also be drilled in the Stockman, South (Travis Peak) Field.

    Smith County

    In a lease 2.5 miles northwest of Arp in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field, the Dyer Gas Unit Well No. 3H will be drilled by Wagner & Brown. This well will hit 12,200 feet in the Lockhart, W Survey, A-563.

    Van Zandt County

    The Chandler Well No. 3 will be drilled two miles west of Ben Wheeler in a wildcat field. The well will be drilled by Parten Operating to 8,200 feet in the Hollingsworth, B Survey, A-411.

    COMPLETIONS

    Angelina County

  • The J.W. Sessions Heirs Well No. 16H has been completed by Southwestern Energy. This well is 3.8 miles north-northeast of Wells and will hit 9,570 feet in the Loco Bayou Field. When gauged on an open choke, the well potentialed 6.7 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the Angelina Lumber Company Well No. 3 potentialed 130,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is 10 miles south to Lufkin in the Redland, Northeast Field. Palmer Petroleum has completed the well to 11,575 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Freestone County

  • The Henderson-Lott No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 12 have been completed by XTO Energy in the Teague Field. The No. 10 is 5.1 miles southwest of Fairfield and bottoms at 12,857 feet. When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.384 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 12 is five miles northeast of Teague and bottoms at 12,147 feet. When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.214 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • In a lease 6.6 miles west of Oakwood in the Dowdy Ranch Field, the Louetta Parker "A" Well No. 5 has been completed by Anadarko Petroleum. This well bottoms at 15,500 feet and potentialed 8.329 million cubic feet of gas per day when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Valence Operating has completed two wells in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. The Williford "E" Well No. 14 is 4.6 miles north of Fairfield and hits 12,634 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.406 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Metzgar Well No. 5 is 4.4 miles north of Fairfield and hits 12,745 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 472,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Horton Gas Unit Well No. 1 has been completed in the Teague Field by XTO Energy to 11,854 feet. The well is 5.1 miles northwest of Teague. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 100,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • Gregg County

    In a lease 4.9 miles southwest of Longview, in the Willow Springs Field, the J.M. Dickson Well No. 3 will be drilled by Neumin Production. This well hit 11,000 feet and potentialed 730,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Harrison County

  • The Martin Heirs Well No. 3 is 3.9 miles southeast of Marshall in the Ware Field. Valence Operating has completed the well to 11,786 feet. When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 650,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • River Stone Energy has completed the Jones Well No. 2-A in the Bethany Field 5.2 miles southeast of Scottsville to 9,800 feet. When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.022 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the Huffman Smith Well No. 1 potentialed 750,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well was completed in the Bethany Field by River Stone Energy to 9,800 feet. This well is 5.9 miles to Scottsville. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Woodlawn Field has seen the Durkee Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 completed by Tony W. Clemons to 10,040 feet. This well is 5.6 miles north of Marshall and potentialed 271,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit-Page Field.

  • The Oak Hill Field has seen the Tutt, W.R. Well No. 4 completed by Valence Operating to 12,345 feet and is 4.7 miles northeast of Easton. This well was gauged on a 17/64-inch choke and potentialed 459,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Limestone County

  • The Freestone Field has seen the S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 12 completed by XTO Energy to 12,735 feet. The well is 13.1 miles east of Groesbeck. This well was gauged on a 12/64-inch choke and potentialed 284,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • XTO Energy has completed the B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 21 in the Farrar Field 2.5 miles southwest of Donie to 14,025 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/964-inch choke and potentialed 721,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • The TXU Mining Well No. 2 is 7.5 miles northwest of Bald Prairie in the Bald Prairie Field. This well bottoms at 12,117 feet drilled by Approach Operating. The well was gauged on an 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 925,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • When gauged on a 21/64-inch choke, the Katie G Well No. 1 potentialed 600,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Goodrich Petroleum completed the well to 11,789 feet in the Gates Field 13.5 miles northeast of Lufkin. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The U.S.A. LB Well No. 1H is 12.5 miles northwest of Lufkin in the Loco Bayou Field and was completed to 9,311 feet by St. Mary Land & Exploration. When gauged on a 32/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.330 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • Navarro County

    The Kenner Moncrief Unit Well No. 4P has been completed to 990 feet by Square One Energy in the Corsicana Field 1.1 miles south of Powell. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Shallow formation.

    Panola County

  • The Box Gas Unit Well No. 5 has been completed three miles west of Clayton in the Carthage Field by Classic Operating to 10,146 feet. This well was gauged on a 16/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.679 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease three miles southeast of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, the Owens, Nellie Well No. 14 has been completed by Chesapeake Operating. The well hit 9,596 feet and potentialed 1.197 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Samson Lone Star has completed the Myers "A" Well No. 10 in the Bethany Field to 9,960 feet seven miles northeast of DeBerry. This well was gauged on a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.830 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the Frost B Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 1.142 million cubic feet of natural gas. This well is 18 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Chevron U.S.A. completed the well to 7,310 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • There have been two wells completed by Anadarko E&P in the Carthage Field. The CGU 13 Well No. 16 is 2.9 miles northwest of Carthage and bottoms at 9,724 feet. This well potentialed 1.199 million cubic feet of gas per day when gauged on an adjustable choke. The CGU 13 Well No. 17 is 2.6 miles northwest of Carthage and bottoms at 9,696 feet. This well potentialed 1.323 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

    The BR/Boyd Well No. 1 and the BR Margerum Gas Unit Well No. 3 have been completed in the Savell Field by Burlington Resources O&G. The No. 1 is 3.3 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 14,700 feet. This well potentialed 461,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day when gauged on a 13/64-inch choke. The No. 3 is 6.2 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,325 feet. This well potentialed 1.576 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 11/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier Sand Formation.

    Rusk County

  • The Minor, A. Gas Unit Well No. 9 and the No. 10 have been completed by Energen Resources in the Oak Hill Field. The wells are four miles northwest of Tatum. When gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the No. 9 well potentialed 538,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Depth is 10,730 feet. When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the No. 10 well potentialed 2.351 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Depth is 10,743 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 1.8 miles northwest of Minden, in the Minden Field, the Minden SWD Well No. 3D has been completed by Minden Gathering Services to hit 6,750 feet. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Cabot Oil & Gas has completed the White Gas Unit Well No. 3, the Palmer Well No. 1 and the Anderson, James G. Et Al Well No. 1 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. The White Gas Unit Well No. 3 is 5.8 miles northeast of Minden hit 11,300 feet. This well potentialed 541,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 34/64-inch choke. The Palmer Well No. 1 is 2.5 miles southeast of Minden with 10,840 feet. This well was gauged on a 22/64-inch choke and potentialed 235,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The Anderson, James G. Et Al Well No. 1 is 0.5 miles southeast of Minden hit 11,320 feet. This well was gauged on a 16/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.335 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Henderson, East Field has seen the HP Wesson GU Well No. 12 completed by Coronado Energy E&P to 10,950 feet. This well is 3.5 miles west of Henderson and was gauged on a 14/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.214 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • El Paso E&P has completed the Watkins Scholarship Trust Well No. 2 1.6 miles east of Henderson in the Minden Field. This well hit 10,950 feet and potentialed 1.407 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Kennedy, Major Well No. 16 is 21.3 miles northeast of Henderson in the Oak Hill Field. Anadarko E&P has completed the well to 10,643 feet. This well was gauged on an adjustable choke and potentialed 1.087 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Shelby County

    When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Sustainable Forest LLC Well No. 3 potentialed 13.388 million cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 11.6 miles southwest of Center in the Angie Field. Cabot Oil & Gas has completed the well to 7,090 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

    Smith County

    In a lease two miles southwest of Arp in the Overton Field, the Perry Gas Unit 1 Well No. 11H has been completed by Southwestern Energy. This well bottoms at 11,844 feet and potentialed 7.928 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

    Tyler County

  • Anadarko E&P has completed the Black Stone Hanks A-20 Unit Well No. 1 in the Brookeland Field to 19,772 feet. This well is 2.7 miles northwest of Woodville. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 10.946 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800 formation.

  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Black Stone Minerals A-36 Well No. 2 potentialed 3.420 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Pogo Producing completed the well to 13,204 feet in the Brookeland Field, 7.6 miles northwest of Woodville. Production is in the Austin Chalk 8800 formation.

  • Upshur County

    The Harkrider Well No. 1 is 5.9 miles southeast of Gilmer in the Glenwood Field. Southwestern Energy Production completed the well to 11,738 feet. When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.292 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
