The Worthy Well No. 2, the Worthy Well No. 7, the Worthy Well No. 9 and the Worthy Well No. 11 will be drilled in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. The No. 2 well will be drilled 2.2 miles south of Donie, and the No. 7 and the No. 9 wells will be drilled 1.7 miles south of Donie. The No. 11 well will be drilled 1.8 miles south of Donie. The wells will bottom at 15,300 feet in the Diaz, G Survey, A-178. The No. 2 and the No. 7 wells may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 9 and the No. 11 wells may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.
XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Wynne Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 and the Reed "E" Gas Unit Well No. 16. The No. 2 well will be located 0.7 miles northwest of Kirvin in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 11,300 feet in the Galbrath, C J Survey, A-245. The No. 16 well will be located 2.7 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 15,000 feet in the Connelly, I Survey, A-117. Angelina County
The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 9 and the Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 13 will be drilled in the Raintree (Hosston) Field by EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. The wells will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-703. The No. 9 will be located 3.76 miles northeast of Wells. The No. 13 will be located 3.9 miles northeast of Wells.
Cherokee County
The Chilton, Gene Well No. 1 will be drilled by Dallas Production, Inc. in a wildcat field five miles north of Jacksonville in the Quevedo, T Survey, A-44. It will bottom at 10,200 feet and may also be drilled in the Percy Wheeler (Travis Peak) Field.
Parten Operating Inc. will drill the Moody Glass Well No. 1 in a wildcat field three miles south of Jacksonville in the Ford, J Survey, A-269. Total depth will be 5,200 feet.
In a lease 15.2 miles west of Rusk in the Southern Pine (Travis Peak) Field, the Temple Eastex G.U. No. 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled by Cordillera Texas LP. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the McGregor, J Survey, A-34.
Franklin County
The Bagwell Well No. 2 will be drilled by SDG Operating Co. Inc. in the Bagwell, South (Paluxy) Field. It will be located nine miles northwest of Mount Vernon in the Westover, J Survey, A-530. It will bottom at 5,300 feet.
Harrison County
The Spencer Gas Unit Well No. 5 and the Foster Gas Unit Well No. 10 will be drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. The wells will bottom at 13,000 feet. The No. 5 will be located 3.6 miles northeast of Crossroads in a wildcat field. It will lie in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145 and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 10 well will be located 6.5 miles west of Elysian Fields in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It will lie in the Bennett, J Survey, A-115 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP will drill the Spencer Gas Unit Well No. 6 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be located 3.6 miles northeast of Crossroads in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145. Total depth will be 13,000 feet.
In a lease five miles southwest of Marshall in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field, the Mobley Gas Unit Well No. 12 will be drilled by Valence Operating Co. to 13,000 feet in the Lindsey, P Survey, A-391. This well may also be drilled in the Blocker (Rodessa) Field, the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field or the Blocker (Page) Field.
The Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Weatherford Well No. 3 drilled by Comstock Oil & Gas LP. It will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Wallace, L Survey, A-744 and will be located 1.1 miles southeast of Crossroads.
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP will drill six additional wells. The Crawford Gas Unit Well No. 2, the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 18, the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 19 and the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 20 will be drilled to 13,000 feet in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. Nacogdoches County
The Caleb GU 1 Well No. 2 and the Manuel Herrera Well No. 15 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC. The No. 2 will be drilled 8.5 miles north from Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. It will lie in the Bailey, H Survey A-6 and will bottom at 12,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Trawick (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. In a lease 11.7 miles northeast of Franklin, in a wildcat field, the Blair, John Well No. 13 will be drilled by Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC to 13,500 feet in the Jones, W Survey, A-200. Angelina County
The J.W. Sessions Heirs Well No. 15R is located 2.5 miles north-northeast of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field. It was completed by Southwestern Energy Production Co. to 11,756 feet. The well potentialed 3.722 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 27/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Freestone County
XTO Energy Inc. completed the Winfree Gas Unit Well No. 17 and the Reed "P" Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16. The No. 17 is located five miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field, bottoming at 12,965 feet. It potentialed 4.311 million cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.
The Jackson "E-1" Gas Unit Well No. 7 is located 3.7 miles southwest of in the Appleby, North Field. The well bottoms at 10,175 feet, drilled by EOG Resources Inc. On an 18/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.455 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Panola County
The Long Branch Well No. 5D was completed by Basa Resources Inc. in the Brady-Panola Field with a depth of 6,000 feet. Location is six miles southwest of Clayton. No test data recorded. Production is in the Blossom formation.
When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Adams, T.C. NCT-1 G Well No. 1T potentialed 2,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is located 5.4 miles of DeBerry in the Bethany, East Field. Total depth is 6,321 feet with production in the Pettit formation.
Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the Hancock, J.F. Unit Well No. 12 and the CGU 14 Well No. 19 in the Carthage Field. The No. 12 well is located 5.1 miles southeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,623 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 1.012 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 19 well is located 2.6 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,756 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 1.299 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Williamson Well No. 21 and the Mauritzen, J.C. Well No. 8 were completed by Devon Energy Production Co. LP in the Carthage Field. The No. 21 is located 3.7 miles southwest of Carthage and bottoms at 9,548 feet. On adjustable choke it potentialed 1.578 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 8 is located 9.5 miles southwest of Carthage and bottoms at 9,750 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 2.477 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 28/64-inch choke, the Holland Gas Unit No. 1 Well No.1-T potentialed 972,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was drilled 1.7 miles southeast of Fairplay in the Carthage Field by Craton Energy Holdings III LP. The well bottoms at 10,080 feet with production in the Cotton Valley formation.
Craton Energy Holdings III LP completed the Holland Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1-C in the Carthage Field. It is located 1.7 miles southeast of Fairplay with a depth of 10,080 feet and potentialed 544,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
The Briggs Unit 1 Well No. 9 is located 5.1 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage Field. It was drilled to 9,970 feet by Lacy Operations Ltd. and potentialed 1.24 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the Floyd Gas Unit Well No. 23 potentialed 418,000 cubic feet of gas per day. It is located four miles east of DeBerry in the Bethany, East Field. XTO Energy Inc. completed the well to 9,410 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Chevron U.S.A. Inc. completed the Bettie Crenshaw Well No. 3 in the Carthage Field, 3.5 miles southeast of DeBerry, with a depth of 7,700 feet. The well was gauged on a 14/64-inch choke and potentialed 516,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400 formation.
The Chadwick Unit Well No. 13-L was completed by Devon Energy Production Co. LP in the Carthage Field. It is located 3.6 miles north of Carthage with a depth of 8,000 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 471,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
When gauged on a 32/64-inch choke, the Maude 2 Unit Well No. 15 potentialed 1.507 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is located 9.2 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. ConocoPhillips Co. completed the well to 9,555 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Robertson County
When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the Tullos Well No. 1 potentialed 591,000 cubic feet of gas per day. It is located 11.3 miles north-northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. This well was drilled to bottom at 12,500 feet by O'Benco Inc. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Rusk County
The KCR Timberland Ltd. Well No. 1 was completed by Machin & Associates in the Pleasant Grove Field. It is located 13.5 miles southwest of Henderson with a depth of 4,150 feet. On a 12/64-inch choke it flowed with 59 barrels of crude per day.
Enduring Resources LLC completed the TXU Gas Unit Well No. 3 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. It is located 1.4 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,920 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 909,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
In a lease 3.24 miles southwest of Long Branch in the Brachfield, Southeast Field, the Kennedy Gas Unit Well No. 3 was completed by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. It was bottomed at 10,620 feet and potentialed 728,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Forbus Estate Gas Unit Well No. 11 and the Barbara Oil Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 were completed by Samson Lone Star LLC. The No. 11 is located nine miles northeast of Henderson with a depth of 10,732 feet in the Oak Hill Field. It potentialed 1.027 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation. The No. 1 is located 5.5 miles west of Mount Enterprise with a depth of 8,865 feet in the Trawick, North Field. It flowed with five barrels of crude per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Transition formation.
Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC completed the Wesson GU Well No. 6 in the Henderson, East Field. The well bottoms at 11,000 feet and is located three miles southwest of Henderson. When gauged on a 10/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.713 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the Arnold Estate Unit 1 Well No. 3 potentialed 475,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed to 10,415 feet in the Oak Hill Field by Comstock Oil & Gas LP. Location is 4.5 miles north of Tatum. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. completed six wells in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. The Cyphers Gas Unit Well No. 3 is located 3.24 miles west of Long Branch with a depth of 11,680 feet. It potentialed 767,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. The White Gas Unit Well No. 5 is located 5.63 miles northeast of Minden with a depth of 11,482 feet. It potentialed 733,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. The White Gas Unit Well No. 4 is located 5.7 miles northeast of Minden with a depth of 10,747 feet. On a 34/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.697 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Kennedy Gas Unit Well No. 4 is located 3.6 miles southwest of Long Branch with a depth of 11,364 feet. It potentialed 1.462 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 32/64-inch choke. The Cyphers Gas Unit Well No. 2 is located 3.05 miles northwest of Long Branch with a depth of 11,354 feet. When gauged on a 28/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.058 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The White Gas Unit Well No. 2 is located 5.73 miles northeast of Minden with a depth of 10,678 feet. It potentialed 825,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 36/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Smith County
The Sallie M. Warren Heirs Gas Unit 1 Well No. 08 was completed by Southwestern Energy Production Co. in the Overton Field. It is located 2.2 miles northwest of Troup with a depth of 12,260 feet. It potentialed 2.337 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
Upshur County
The Gladewater GU 19 Well No. 12 and the S.P. Victory Gas Unit Well No. 9 were completed by TXOK Texas Energy Resources LP in the Glenwood Field. The No. 12 well is located five miles northeast of Gladewater and bottoms at 11,043 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke it potentialed 172,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 9 well is located 0.5 miles north of Gladewater and bottoms at 11,044 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 524,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
