The HGT Well No. 2H is 5.6 miles northeast of Wells in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field. Southwestern Energy will drill the well to 9,800 feet in the Ussury, N Survey, A-572. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
In a lease three miles northeast of Melrose, in a wildcat field, the Astros Gas Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled by Fossil Resources. The well will hit 14,500 feet in the Flores, Hrs. V. Survey, A-30 and may also be drilled in the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field.
Samson Lone Star will drill the H.G.T. Middlebrook GU 1 Well No. 7, the GU 1 Well No. 8 and GU 1 Well No. 6 in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. The wells will hit 12,000 feet. The No. 7 and the No. 8 are 9.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M&Bros. Survey, A-21. The No. 7 well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field. The No. 8 well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field. EOG Resources will drill the Adams "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 8 in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field to 10,200 feet in the Acosta, JJ Survey, A-65. This well may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.
Angelina County
The Angelina Lumber Well No. 1 will be drilled 4.9 miles east of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. The well will hit 12,300 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201.
Cherokee County
The Armstrong Well No. 2 will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating in the Percy Wheeler (Travis Peak) Field. The well is 10.5 miles northeast of Jacksonville in the Jewell, RR Survey, A-455. This well will hit 12,000 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Freestone County
A wildcat field will see the Folk Gas Unit Well No. 6H drilled by Apache to 14,000 feet. This well is 5.7 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Acosta, JN Survey, A-1. This well may also be drilled in the Nan-Su-Gail (Pettit) Field, the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Nan-Su-Gail (Woodbine) Field, the Nan-Su-Gail (Sub-Clarksville 4100) Field or the Nan-Su-Gail (Haynesville) Field.
Gregg County
The Griffin Ranch G.U. 4 Well No. 7 and No. 8 will be drilled to 11,000 feet 5.3 miles northeast of Kilgore by Geo-Vest of Texas. The No. 7 is in the Danville, East (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will lie in the Bradley, E Survey, A-17 and may also be drilled in the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 8 will be drilled in the Danville (Pettit -A-Oil) Field to 8,000 feet. This well will lie in the Bradley, E Survey, A-17 and may also be drilled in the Danville (Gloyd) Field or a wildcat field.
Harrison County
Enervest Operating will drill the Loftis Gas Unit Well No. 4D and No. 14D in a wildcat field. The wells will hit 11,500 feet in the Real, A Survey, A-594. Both wells are 4.5 miles southwest of Hallsville and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Galloway Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled by NFR Energy in a wildcat field. The well will hit 11,000 feet 5.3 miles southeast of Longview in the Finley, Hrs. BC Survey, A-267. This well may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Carolynn Bell Unit No. 1 Well No. 14 drilled by NEG Operating. Depth will be 12,000 feet. The well is 6.5 miles southeast of Hallsville in the Watson, W Survey, A-748 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
The Vann-McElroy Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by NEG Operating in a wildcat field. The well is 5.3 miles east of Hallsville in the Gillet, C Survey, A-9. This well will hit 14,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Hallsville, Northeast (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Waskom, Southwest (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Winston Heirs Well No. 1 drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA). The well is 13.9 miles northeast of Marshall in the Fuller, F Survey, A-8 and will hit 10,000 feet. O'Benco will drill the Doyle Harris Gas Unit Well No. 7 9.6 miles south of Marshall in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Carrol, E Survey, A-135 and hit 11,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Blocker (Page) Field or a wildcat field.
Henderson County
The Kris Perryman (Rodessa) Field will see the Catfish Creek No. 2 Well No. 1 drilled by West Mountain Operating. The well will hit 12,000 feet in the Newland, JA Survey, A-576. Location is 12 miles southeast of Athens. This well may also be drilled in the Fairway, West (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.
Rising Star Petroleum will drill the McDonald Well No. 2 in the Turlington Field. This well will hit 10,000 feet and is 3.2 miles northeast of Cross Roads. This well will lie in the Riley, C Survey, A-688 and may also be drilled in the Tri-Cities (Pettit) Field or the Tri-Cities (Rodessa) Field.
Limestone County
The Mildred Thompson "A" GU Well No. 4H will be drilled 14.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well will hit 12,500 feet in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4 drilled by Devon Energy Production.
Valence Operating will drill the Wilson "V" Well No. 3 in the Box Church (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is 1.5 miles north of Box Church in the Acosta, JN Survey, A-1. This well will hit 10,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Box Church (Pettit) Field, the Box Church (Cotton Valley Lime) Field or the Box Church (Travis Peak) Field.
In a lease 13.9 miles northwest of Jewett in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field, the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 22 will be drilled by O'Benco. The well will hit 9,000 feet in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in the Navasota (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.
Navarro County
The Cheneyboro (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Watkins Gas Unit Well No. 1 drilled by XTO Energy one mile northwest of Streetman in the Ward, HW Survey, A-842. The well will hit 10,600 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Cheneyboro (Travis Peak) Field.
Panola County
A wildcat field will see the Taylor Heirs "C" Well No. 3 drilled by AC Exploration 11.7 miles southwest of Carthage in the Williams, P Survey, A-724 to 7,500 feet. The well may also be drilled in the Itex (Pettit) Field, the Carthage (Pettit, Lower) Field, the Itex (Travis Peak) Field or the Fairplay, Northeast (Travis Peak) Field.
There will be three wells drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Devon Energy Production. The Fender, H.R. Well No. 18 and No. 20 will be drilled 5.6 miles southwest of Carthage in the Hanks, I Survey, A-271. The No. 20 will hit 15,000 feet and the No. 18 will hit 12,000 feet. The Fender, H.R. Well No. 21 will be drilled 5.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the Hanks, I Survey, A-271 and will hit 12,000 feet.
Craton Energy Holdings will drill the Roquemore Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4 and No. 5 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 10,250 feet. The No. 4 is 1.4 miles southeast of Fair Play in the Shepard, H Survey, A-593. The No. 5 is 1.3 miles southeast of Fair Play in the Morris, W Survey, A-470. Both wells may also be drilled in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field.
In a lease 6.6 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Haygood, Lois Well No. 15 will be drilled by Devon Energy Production. The well will hit 12,000 feet in the Davis, J Survey, A-162.
The Lloyd Moore Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the Anderson, W Survey, A-4, 4.8 miles southeast of Carthage.
The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Carter, Ola Well No. 4 and the Osborne Gas Unit Well No. 4 drilled by St. Mary Land & Exploration. The Carter, Ola Well No. 4 is 12 miles east of Carthage in the English, W Survey, A-194. The Osborne Gas Unit Well No. 4 is 12 miles east of Carthage in the Anderson, W G Survey, A-9. Depth will be 10,500 feet.
Robertson County
The McLean D Well No. 2 will be drilled 11.1 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) will drill the well to 19,000 feet in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32.
Burlington Resources O&G will drill the Williams Gas Unit Well No. 3 in the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field. The well will hit 14,100 feet in the McMillan, E Survey, A-222. This well is 4.7 miles southwest of Franklin.
The John Amoruso (Bossier) Field will see the Meadors Unit Well No. 2A drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) 6.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32. This well will hit 16,680 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
In a lease 11.9 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the John Blair Well No. 9 will be drilled by Coronado Energy E&P. The well will hit 13,500 feet in the Owens, W Survey, A-297. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Bald Prairie (Pettit) Field or the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field.
The Scamardo-Bradford Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled 7.2 miles southeast of Hearne in the Giddings (Austin Chalk-3) Field to 6,900 feet by Williams, Clayton Energy. This well will lie in the Nixon, GA Survey, A-31.
Rusk County
In a lease 5.8 miles southwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field, the Alexander Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 11 and No. 12 will be drilled by Forest Oil. These wells will hit 11,500 feet in the Pena, MV Survey, A-27.
Maximus Operating will drill the Zardouz Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. The well is 1.4 miles south of Elderville in the Massie, JW Survey, A-525. This well will hit 7,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Danville (Pettit) Field or the John C. Robbins (Pettit) Field.
The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Omie Robertson Gas Unit 1 Well No. 5 drilled by Valence. The well will hit 13,500 feet in the Massie, JW Survey, A-529 2.6 miles southeast of Elderville. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field, the Oak Hill (Pettit) Field or the Oak Hill (Travis Peak) Field.
In a lease 3.7 miles southeast of Kilgore in the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Lee, W.C. Well No. 4 will be drilled by Encore Operating to 9,900 feet in the George, SC Survey, lA-311.
EOG Resources is preparing to drill the Wallace-Rodgers Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field to 10,200 feet in the Morrison, JC Survey, A-517. The well may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.
San Augustine County
The Common SWD Well No. 1 will be drilled by Common Disposal in the Camp Worth (James Lime) Field 2.5 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Quirk, T Survey, A-35. This well will hit 5,300 feet.
Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 3 in a wildcat field 12 miles southwest of Center in the Davis, RS Survey, A-363. This well will hit 8,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.
Shelby County
The Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field will see the Hunt Well No. 4 drilled by Hunt Petroleum to 8,900 feet one mile east of Joaquin in the Sojourner, JR Survey A-980.
In a lease 1.5 miles south of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field, the Taylor, W.M. Well No. 7 will be drilled by Classic Operating. This well will hit 10,000 feet in the Pennington, S Survey, A-555.
Upshur County
The Will McKnight Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7 will be drilled by XTO Energy in the Rosewood (Cotton Valley) Field to 13,500 feet in the McFadden, W Survey, a-295.

Harrison County
When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Timmins B Well No. 1 potentialed 735,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is 3.4 miles southwest of Elysian Fields in the Carthage, North Field. The well was completed to 10,227 feet by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas has completed the Deady Well No. 2 and No. 4 in the Woodlawn, Southwest Field. The wells are 7.7 miles southwest of Marshall. The No. 2 bottoms at 10,535 feet and potentialed 1.297 million cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. The No. 4 bottoms at 10,482 feet and potentialed 1.280 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The N. Louisiana Timberland Well No. 1 has been completed in the Longwood Field by Ark-La-Tex to 10,200 feet 3.9 miles northwest of Waskom. The well potentialed 523,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
In a lease 4.9 miles southwest of Marshall, in the Woodlawn Field, the Blalock CV Gas Unit Well No. 3 has been completed by Forest Oil. This well hit 10,465 feet and potentialed 853,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Jennifer Stewart Gas Unit Well No. 15 has been completed by EnerVest Operating in the Oak Hill Field to 10,750 feet 3.5 miles southwest of Hallsville. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.859 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Leon County
The Williams Well No. 2 has been drilled by Machin & Associates to 6,250 feet in the Upper Keechi Creek five miles southwest of Oakwood. This well flowed with 32 barrels of crude per day, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Dexter Sand formation.
When gauged on a 12/64-inch choke, the Lionheart Well No. 1 potentialed 3.200 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well is 4.2 miles northwest of Wealthy in the Hilltop Resort. Chesapeake Operating completed the well to 20,200 feet. Production is in the Bossier formation.
Nacogdoches County
The Cecil Sparks GU 1 Well No. 5 is 15.5 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Martinsville Field. This well was completed to 10,770 feet by Samson Lone Star. When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.577 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
The Trawick Field has seen the Trawick Gas Unit 29 Well No. 101 completed to 12,687 feet by Cabot Oil & Gas, 2.8 miles northeast of Cushing. This well potentialed 940,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 8/64-inch choke. Production is in the Jurassic formation.
Panola County
When gauged on a 21/64-inch choke, the G.T. Sealy Well No. 1 potentialed 947,000 cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 13.8 miles southeast of Henderson in the Beckville Field. Goodrich Petroleum completed the well to 10,369 feet with production in the Cotton Valley formation.
Chesapeake Operating has completed the Yarborough Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 to 10,324 feet in the Beckville, North Field 5.4 miles east of Tatum. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 542,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Cavin Unit Well No. 14 has been completed by Devon Energy Production to 9,150 feet in the Bethany, East Field, 15 miles northeast of Carthage. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 999,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the Claud Holder Gas Unit Well No. 6 potentialed 957,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Jack L. Phillips Co. completed the well to 9,935 feet in the Carthage, South Field 3.5 miles west of Clayton with production in the Cotton Valley formation.
Rusk County
The Brachfield, Southeast Field has seen the Harrell Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 completed by EnerVest Operating to 10,881 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Minden. The well was gauged on a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.919 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Shelby County
The Morrison Davis Well No. 2-H is 4.7 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Huxley Field. Hunt Petroleum completed the well to 6,772 feet and potentialed 3.419 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 17/64-inch choke. Production is in the 6100 formation.
When gauged on a 17/64-inch choke, the Morrison Davis Well No. 2-H potentialed 3.419 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well is 4.7 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Huxley Field. Hunt Petroleum completed the well to 6,772 feet with production in the 6100 formation.
