Schlitterbahn Galveston Extends Holiday Hours
GALVESTON ISLAND, TEXAS – Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark’s Wasserfest heated-indoor area is adorned with festive holiday decorations including poinsettia “trees,” reindeer, Christmas trees and other delightful displays.
Santa is also available for family photos this weekend. The indoor waterpark is open December 22 – January 6 (except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) for extended holiday operation. The park opens at 10 a.m.
“We invite our guests to spend the holiday season with us,” said Ron Sutula, general manager of Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark. “We are looking forward to being a part of new family traditions Schlitterbahn-style.”
Decorated for the holidays, the 70,000 square-foot heated-indoor waterpark area offers more than a dozen heated waterpark attractions including four tube slides, three speed slides, three kids’ activity areas containing a variety of children’s play elements and pint-sized slides, a secluded beach, a hot tub and the Torrent® tidal wave river.
