The East Texas Spirit 96 Navy Girls soccer team of Tyler placed first in the Rose City Shootout Nov. 16-18 in Tyler. The squad won the U-12 competitive flight. They defeated Longview Elite 96, 2-1, in the semifinals; and the Waco United 96, 3-0, in the final.
