Tyler Travelers Enjoy 'Food' For Thought
The globetrotting Bealls of Tyler, Upton and wife Trixie, recently returned from another journey across the pond and found something familiar upon their return.

It wasn't just the dozen or so copies of the Tyler Morning Telegraph which had been saved for them to read.

The Bealls' latest adventure was to Spain, and among the gastronomical delights enjoyed during their fortnight was a restaurant named Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain.

"After we came home, I was looking forward to catching up on the news with my Tyler Morning Telegraph,'' Beall said. "And imagine my surprise when I read in the Travel Section (Oct. 21) of the very restaurant we ate at in San Sebastian.''

The story was about three chefs from America who literally "ate'' their way across Spain and one of their favorite stops was Arzak.

"It was a very good place to eat,'' Beall said. "The article described it perfectly.''

About a year ago, Beall and his wife journeyed to South Africa and enjoyed seeing the countryside and wild animals. But then, just as recently, the schedule was a bit tiring.

"We spent nearly 25 hours getting back from Spain,'' he said. "It took me a couple of days to rest up, but I'm ready to go again.''

World travelers are indeed a hardy bunch.
