October 28: Thanks For Updates
ROSES: I would like to thank the Tyler Paper for updating its Web site as the KFC murder trial unfolds. I lived in Kilgore at the time of the murders and one of my good high school friends was the daughter of one of the murder victims.
I can remember that day like it was yesterday.
As the years have past, we have moved on with our lives, but now that the trial has begun, I pray daily for the families as they are having to relive that terrible time in their lives all over again.
I have since lost touch with my friend, but I have never forgotten her or her family.
I don't know if they will see this or not, but I just want to say: "Myra, God bless you and your family during this time. I still think of you often. Hold onto the strength of God."
